This is a BIG game for Both teams.... The winner of this game will have the lead and favorite to end up w/ the #2 seed and a first round bye in the playoffs. Hopefully Bratkowski does SOMETHING about this offense and is not so vanilla and predictable. The defense is banged up so the offense needs to score some points to come out with a victory.

This is a tough game to pick. I'm going to say:

Chargers 28
Bengals 21

I think the Bengals come back from this week with a W over the Chargers.

SD has been playing well for awhile and Cincy isn't.
SD loves the month of December.Cincy doesn't

If Cincy pulls it off it would be the upset of the week unless Indy or NO lose.

Explain how it will be the upset of the week? It just has to be your hatered towards the Bengals seeing how SD is only 1 game better than Cincy record wise

Big game for Cincy IMO.

If they can win @ San Diego then they could advance and maybe win on the road in the playoffs....if they lose here I have little doubt they could win on the road in the playoffs.

Bungals have no chance in this one. I could see them imploding after this loss.

Bengals getting seven on the road, I like the Bengals to cover.
Bengals are going to do what works for them, limit possessions and run the football as much as possible.
The penalty bug was bad at Minnesota, I think those problems will persist, but the Bengals will be much more competitive.
I still like the Chargers to win, in a close one 24-17

Cincinnati has struggled offensively the last few weeks, but they show signs of life in San Diego. No worries Cincinnati, Kansas City and the Jets are still left to seal the division title. A 2 game winning streak entering the playoffs will be plenty of momentum.

Bengals have been playing it close to the vest lately, and the Minn game was way less important than the SD game. If they win that and the next two, they have a bye and a home game in the 2nd round of the playoffs, and if they win that and Indy gets upset, they could have the AFC cchampionship in Cin!

Don't count the Jets as an easy win. Their defense is killer.

The Bengals played so well on the road early in the season, but, some of that magic seems to have disappeared. We really need to see some progress in the passing game. The rushing attack has been there all season. I love my Bengals, but the Chargers are a late season team and they are rolling again.

Doesn't look like the Bengals can keep them from scoring, so the offense will have to control the ball, and outscore the Chargers!

After Caldwell makes a big catch to get the first 1st down on 3rd and 8, a bad penalty on a chop block on 1st and 10. But they overcome it and get their 4th 1st down of the drive, but have to settle for a FG inside the red zone! Defense must step up now.
