23-28th

I always enjoy checking out which players put up huge numbers and which stars falter. Anyone have any predictions for who will gain the most and who will lose the most.

I have to say that I think Jeffries will lose the most and RG3 will blow people away with his speed ensuring someone trades up for the number 2 pick. Mike Adams will probably impress because you can't teach his size even though he sucks.

Mike Adams has risen to anywhere from a top 2nd round - top 15 pick. Hope this helps

RG3 meets with the Browns tonight. Hope he blows them away and they back off on their pursuit of Matt Flynn.

Flynn got expensive as hell Monday. The packers signed finley which means Flynn gets tagged. That means it'll take a 2nd plus a new deal to get him. Matt Cassell all over.

RGIII measured in at 6-2 3/8, 223 pounds, which has to make him and the Rams (auctioning off pick No. 2) very happy.

I don't know why the Packers would pay him top 5 money hoping someone wants to come along and pay him top 5 money PLUS give up a top pick

It's a HUGE gamble for them to tag him. What if nobody "bites" and wants to trade for him? Explain to Aaron Rodgers how his backup is making significantly more than him.

If I'm every other team in the NFL, Im NOT biting. I saw the guy at LSU...he isn't very good.

Big risk throwing a huge contract at a 7th rounder with two NFL starts under his belt. Would rather take my chances with one of the young rookies.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how Kellen Moore and Case Keenum do. I'm kinda hoping if they do well at the combine that the Cowboys take one(mostly want Moore) in like the 5th or 6th round. Also looking mostly at all the DBs since the Cowboys are hopefully going to take them within the first few picks Although I wouldn't be surprised if they took Richardson depending on his injury in the 1st round.

4 & 22 is all I'd give up. Hopefully that's all it would take if they decide to go that route.

oh for sure. to be honest i think thats all it would take too. shit they still get blackmon or khalil. plus another good player at 22 THIS year. they don't need much to compete in that division. two studs this year could go along way. it would be nice though to trade up early so the FA know that we are sitting at the two spot and could either land luck or RGIII.

I saw this guy at Michigan who was benched in favor of Drew Henson. That guy was terrible.

The same guy that continued to sit behind Drew Bledsoe...or the guy that got hurt and watched another backup put up great numbers as well and then get paid a ridiculous contract?

That guy is in a pretty good system...sound familiar?

If its the 22nd pick that stands between us and a franchise QB idgaf either. I'll gladly pay for a franchise QB and give up the first so I dont have to watch Colt McCoy hold on to the ball, refuse to throw unless the guy is wide the fuck open (aka no anticipation) and turn into Captain Check Down Charlie after Patty boy calls 2 horribly designed run plays straight up the gut on the first 2 downs.

That's called "college ball syndrome." A lot of these QB's are used to their WR's running wild & free and the passes are like shooting fish in a barrel. Instead of anticipating and throwing to a spot, they wait for the receiver to break open. Defenders usually adjust to this and make the play. Gotta be better at anticipating...

NFL.com has player grades on the combine page. They all seem about right, with one notable exception.

Mike Adams is graded at 54.0. 50-69 is a draftable player grade, round 4-7 stock. Players in the high end of the category might have long-term potential, but clearly 54 is not in the high range.

That seemed unusual.

"Adams is not a very exciting player and can struggle at times with effort-based issues that don't allow him to get much movement on the line when run blocking. He is more of a catch and react blocker than one who delivers blows, and will need to play with more fire and look to unleash his inner-athleticism to be able to succeed at the next level."
