Buffalo, Tennessee and Houston at home are all winnable. KC on the road also a winnable game. I said 8-8 would be an awesome year after the draft and expected 7-8 wins. Now Im thinking 9 is very attainable and with the head to head over the Dolphins, playoffs are very much in sight.Terry_Tate;1316369 wrote:Colts are now 6-3. Fairly tough schedule left but I think they can get to 9 wins, maybe 10 if Houston has everything clinched and takes the final week off. Serious playoff shot for Indy, though not sure if that says more about them/Luck or less about the AFC.

Houston at home is not winnable (unless Houston is resting everybody of course)...Indy reminds me of Cincinnati from last year, they have an easy schedule and are benefitting from that moreso then their play on the field. They're still very, very young.
GB was a good win (although GB isn't as good as year's past), other than that...

They were 2-14 last year with a decent schedule. Regardless of how easy their schedule is, most wins are good wins for them.SportsAndLady;1316383 wrote:Houston at home is not winnable (unless Houston is resting everybody of course)...Indy reminds me of Cincinnati from last year, they have an easy schedule and are benefitting from that moreso then their play on the field. I kinda see the correlation, except the main difference is the Colts actually have a legit QB. I am not sure how winnable Houston at home is though, unless as you said they rest their. This Colts team is believing, and they are playing hard for Chuck, so I can def see them get 3 more wins before the season ends. A 9 win season in the AFC should be enough for a playoff spot.SportsAndLady;1316383 wrote:Houston at home is not winnable (unless Houston is resting everybody of course)...Indy reminds me of Cincinnati from last year, they have an easy schedule and are benefitting from that moreso then their play on the field. Colts SHOULD beat KC, Tenn, and Buffalo. Those teams all pretty much blow. Theyre probably on par with the Lions this year and theyre more than likely going to lose both houston games and against the Pats. 9 wins should be a lock.Terry_Tate;1316369 wrote:Colts are now 6-3. Its the last game of the year. I was assuming that Houston will be resting their starters. If not, they wont win that game. But I dont see Houston playing their players if they have their spot locked up (though, I am of the belief that you always play).SportsAndLady;1316383 wrote:Houston at home is not winnable (unless Houston is resting everybody of course)...Indy reminds me of Cincinnati from last year, they have an easy schedule and are benefitting from that moreso then their play on the field. I'm dead serious--the MVP through 9 weeks is Andrew Luck. Not by what the award stands for now, but what it literally stands for. The Broncos were a playoff team last year without Manning. The Colts were 2-14 without Luck. The Falcons are a juggernaut even with a different QB.
It's unbelievable how good Luck has looked thus far in his NFL career.

That's a good comparison, although the 2010 Bengals were better than the 2011 Colts (in terms of heading into the following season). The Colts legitimately flirted with 0-16 last year. Plus Andrew Luck is significantly better than Dalton and the Colts have better veterans too (Freeney, Wayne).SportsAndLady;1316383 wrote:Indy reminds me of Cincinnati from last year, they have an easy schedule and are benefitting from that moreso then their play on the field. I don't think the Colts are that good either, but I'm not betting against Andrew Luck down the road this season.

I agree with you but Luck will NOT win the award. It'll like go to Ryan if they keep winning.lhslep134;1316574 wrote:I'm dead serious--the MVP through 9 weeks is Andrew Luck. Exactly. The MVP nowadays pretty much just goes to the QB of the best team. There are instances where that is justified (Manning's MVPs in Indy) but Matt Ryan is in no way shape or form the MVP. That team is a juggernaut even with someone like Dalton at QB.sleeper;1316579 wrote:I agree with you but Luck will NOT win the award. It'll like go to Ryan if they keep winning.

Id honestly have to give it to Manning over Ryan right now (or Luck).
While the Broncos were a playoff team, it was with a completely different offense. What Peyton is doing to that offense is pretty remarkable, this quickly.

He needed to be fined as it was so obvious it was disgusting.

The NFL thought he lied to them. He got off easy. Could've got something in the range of $50-65kCommander of Awesome;1316657 wrote:Emmanuel Sanders fined a big chunk of money for faking an injury. That's embarrassing.

Bad early games today. Teams down by 20+ in 4 of the 8 games going on right now, and only 2 games are within single digits.
