Why would they accept? Gives Seattle a chance to win.

Not if it's a safety and it's 15-6...

Yes it does. Take a knee and win or give them a chance to recover the free kick, score and recover again and score. Its obviously not gonna happen, but probably more likely than causing a fumble on the kneeldown.

Haha. More of a chance for a Joe Pisarcik-like fumble than 2 kick recoveries and 2 scores by Seattle in under 30 seconds. Whatever. I'm pissed.

True. But as the coach, why not just take the ball and kneel down? Thats all.

I would almost guarantee if you run the odds, he made the WRONG choice. That's if you ignore the obvious choice to take the points. That's why you don't gamble though...I get it.

I'll be rooting against Harbaugh all year now. Don't mind if harm comes to him actually. Parlay w/Oregon -9 for $40 bucks on this one. Cost me over $100!

Exactly and now he's starting his "injury" act earlier than usual this year so we can hear all of the announcers give him verbal fellatio when talking about his "toughness" for 3 hours.

Best/worst teams regarding drafting proficiency (Forbes). Unfortunately this only gives top & bottom 5. Bengals in the bottom 5...

History of the franchise, I would see the Bengals being there. From 2005-2009? Not sure. Maybe it's the 2005 draft. After the 2005 draft, the Bengals have drafted very well.

RD1 - David Pollack - got injured, barely played and retired
RD2 - Odell Thurman - started great, got suspended, was never the same
RD3 - Chris Henry - unfortunate story that was riddled with injuries and a premature death

2006 - Johnathan Joseph, Domata Peko, Andrew Whitworth, Frostee Rucker. Only 2 of 4 still there now, but all quality NFL players.

2007 - Leon Hall, Marvin White, Kenny Irons. Hall is an elite corner, but their 2nd and 3rd rounder were both major busts. Irons was due to a torn ACL, but still, 2007 hurts.

2008 - Keith Rivers, Jerome Simpson, Pat Sims, Andre Caldwell. Rivers was a bust for Cincy but mostly due to injuries, he's coming back. Simpson was a late-bloomer, but also is coming around last year and this year. Sims is hurt, but he's a decent player. This draft hurts Cincy because much of the production that comes from 2008 isn't going to be for them.

2009 - Andre Smith, Rey Maualuga, Michael Johnson, Kevin Huber, Bernard Scott. This is a great draft for the Bengals including 4 key players to their team. Scott is hurt, but he's been a contributor since his rookie year.

Since 2009, the Bengals have drafted very well. I'd even venture to say that if these rankings come out and rate 2009-2013 or so, they will be near the top. 2005-08 had some rough times though.

Was a shame with David Pollack. That dude was going to be a stud. Wanted the Browns to draft him. I guess it was a good thing they didn't. Ironically, his career ending injury was against the Browns.

Def a shame. Bengals or not, you don't want to see a guy going out like that. He is doing well for himself now though.

Former team doctor busted. Didn't we hear about this same guy a few years back?

He was the doctor that fabricated all of Ben's injuries to the announcers.

Chris Johnson is tearing it up today. 114 yards and 2 TDs just four minutes into the second quarter at Buffalo.

He was projected to have 18 points in my yahoo league. He already has 27. He and Gore are carrying my underachievers (Austin and Torrey Smith) and then some.
