Saints still make the playoffs. You don't need a defense when you have Drew Brees.

There is no way the NFLPA can appeal these.

If they do, they are basically telling other players out there that they don't care about their safety.

Alos, Goodell's excuse of these guys did more(basically what he was saying) is a joke.

If you punish one guy for it, you have to punish ALL of them. There were a hell of a lot more than 4 players involved in the whole thing.

Goodell is saying it's ok to take the money from a bounty, but you can put the money up for it.

That makes sense...

This brought teh lulz

2nd May, 2012 - 2:29 pmNFL.com - The Bills added Mario Williams this offseason, but that doesn't mean the defender will wear No. 90 for the team this coming season.

Buffalo defensive end Chris Kelsay will not give up his jersey to make way for the prized free-agent addition, according to the Buffalo News.

Williams will soon be assigned a number so the team can begin selling his jersey to fans.

"I spoke with Mario. I actually brought it up to him, he didn't bring it up to me. He completely understood," Kelsay said.

"I've worn it my entire career here. A lot of times in a situation like this, the guy will buy it from you. But I'm not really interested in that."

Kelsay has been on the Bills for 10 years.

"People who have never played don't realize how attached you can actually get to a number," Kelsay said. "Having played with it my whole career, it was something I don't really want to part with, and he completely understood. That was basically it."

Filmmaker Sean Pamphilon, who released the audio of Gregg Williams' now-infamous locker room speech, has also put forth his own bounty.

Ravens' Terrell Suggs is reportedly out for the 2012 NFL season due to a torn Achilles. Vinny Cerrato reported this.

Yeah. Not happy to see players get injured but the fact of the matter is this helps the Steelers and Bengals for that matter in the AFC North race. Browns will benefit too but I don't think they're quite ready to contend for the division crown yet.

Top AFC teams probably a bit relieved by this too. I'd rather beat them with him in the lineup but no doubt this makes protecting Ben a little easier.

I know normally players who tear an ACL are out for a year but doesn't it also depend on the severity?
Just wonder if he will miss all or part of the season.

Being reported that it's "likely" he'll miss all of the 2012 season.

It happened from playing bball. Can't imagine how uncomfortable that game of bball was for everyone else when he tore it.
