Kaepernick with another rush TD. A lot of really good young QBs in the league right now.

Alot of coaches with some serious brass as well.

Both Pete Carroll and Harbaugh made decisions to play Wilson and Kaep that could very easily have blown up in their face considering the financial commitments the Seahawks and Niners had in Smith and Flynn.

9 out of 10 coaches would play it safe and stick with their high priced veterans, instead of putting in the youngsters.

Packers should not have punted on 4th and 5 at midfield down 14, with 11 min left!

Niners are just kicking GB's ass at this point. Physically dominating.

Very surprised how easy they have made it look.

I thought GB was going to be a tough out as they seemed to kind of be rounding into form.

I kind of hope the Seahawks win now because I would love to see Harbaugh and Carroll battle it out in the NFC title game. There is no love lost between those two and that would be an incredibly physical smash mouth game.

And for the second straight year we're two wins away from a Harbaugh Bowl for the Lombardi Trophy.

If the Packers punted, they needed to stop the 49ers twice without scoring and score TDs twice just to tie, and 49ers were subject to score from 95 yds just as well as 50 yds, just would take longer(maybe). If the Packers go for it, their best hope, to convert 4th and 5 and go on to score a TD, then they may get a fluke and get the ball back and can score a TD to tie it and send it to OT where they might be able to score a TD on the first possssion in OT and win it. That was the best scenario for the Packers to win it, just like for the Broncos it was to let their QB win it by throwing on some of those 2nd and 3rd and ones!

Well said. Excellent point. Sick and tired of those that say...well we have to play him because he was a number one choice. Once training camp starts....the best player plays.

Have you ever seen a kicker practice a field goal...on the field....after the quarter ends? Are you kidding me? I've never seen anything like that.

I don't know what the rules say or don't say. And neither do you. But I guarantee it that those shananigans will be addressed and never allowed to happen again. I'll bet a one month ban that this is ruled a no-no from now on by April first.

You in or out?

They just said it is against the rules.

I wonder if its just against the rules in the sense that the refs shouldnt allow it or if iits agains tthe rules in the sense t should have resulted in a penalty.

I didn't claim to know the rules, derp. Obviously, since nothing was done, everyone assumed there wasn't a rule against it. So, if there wasn't a rule against it, big deal.

And yes, I saw where they just said it's against the rules. So yes, it was wrong.

The Ravens/Broncos game was solid. I was interested in every minute of the game. I did however walk my way right out of the playoff pool by picking both games wrong.

Flacco got it done in a shootout, which is impressive. I certainly didnt htink he had it in him this year. And Peyton going Super Bowl whatever to Tracy Porter in OT helped a lot.

But, unfortunately for both teams, this game is squarly on the shoulders of the Denver DB...and specificlly the saftey. WTF was that!!! Denver should be moving on, no question about it.

EDIT: I was at work and just now saw the highlights.

One other note about the "Tuck Rule". Didnt Brady have both hands on it in the game that this rule was invented? I thought he did, in which case...how is this even controversial?

Brady got his other hand on it but was still in the process of tucking the ball. Peyton fully regained control and had the ball back into his body. He was no longer in the tuck motion.

And regarding the practice kick:

Mike Pereira ‏@MikePereira Final note. Officials are told not to allow a practice kick on the field. If it happens they're to tell him to get off the field. No penalty

Edit to say I think the Brady tuck call was atrocious, but that's the way it was interpreted. I don't think there's any argument to be made about the play tonight. It was a clear fumble.

How the hell was I wrong? I asked you a question, I didn't make a statement. I said "If it's not against the rules, why isn't it right?" Did I say for certain it wasn't against the rules? Nope. I sure didn't. Smh.

The talking heads have been heaping praise on the Ravens and critisizing the Broncos. ESPN statistical analysis determined that the Broncos win that game 97.2% of the time given the down, distance, and time before the 70 yard TD pass to Jacoby Jones. This loss falls on the poor play of Rahim Moore. This game was lost not won.

"It was my fault," Moore told Yahoo! Sports. "If they wouldn't have scored on us on the last play, we'd be in here rejoicing so if people don't like me after that, I'm sorry. That is my fault and I am going to take full responsibility for it."

As a Texan season ticket holder, I probably would let Jacoby Jones run open also. He drops that ball 6 out pf 10 times. (At least when he was a Texan).

Not a big fan of the Ravens, but I'm glad they beat the Broncos. I was tired of hearing about Peyton, and the Bronco hype. Like they were this unbeatable team. Well guess what, the AFC Conference championship is next week, and no game at Mile High. take that!!
