So glad he is gone.... dude is a huge douche and wasn't even that good. Hopefully the Cowboys will hire someone good. Really wish Jerry would just get rid of Garrett too.

He didn't do a terrible job, but he's never had a dominate defense for a whole season. Lots of talk, but then he'd never blitz and put pressure. Last year he said he didn't blitz because we didn't have the corners to cover. This year, we spend millions on Carr and trade up for Claiborne, and we still don't blitz. Add in the fact that Ware needs to be rushing the QB, not dropping back in coverage. Rob Ryan was a joke.

As for Garrett, I think Jerry is going to force him to hire a legitimate OC. With Garrett as the head guy and someone else calling plays, I think we'll be alright.

The best thing happening right now for the cow boys is that they probably won't have to play rg3 at all next year.

More on Rob Ryan, he's had a top 15 defense ONCE in his career. Also has never coached for a team with a winning record. lolz

Just to pile on Rob Ryan... "I took the 31st worst defense in the league and made them better."

I mean I'd hope you could make the second to worst defense in the league to make them better. Big problem for the Cowboys this year was that they would get down big, early. Forcing them to abandon the run game to attempt to play catch up. He didnt seem very good during the week of preparation, though made some half-time adjustments that usually slowed the opposing offense down some.

Yeah, it was pretty crappy.

Does that field get used by anyone else?

I know Heinz field was pretty bad a couple of seasons. Pitt uses it, and they also have HS teams use it for I think the Western PA finals and such. The steelers used to use a system called DDGrassmaster or something like that. It was actual turf but had some fake stuff sewn into it. Few years ago when I toured the place I tried to see if I could notice the fake stuff but couldnt. I believe they have since did away with that and now it is just grass. The field was embarassing a few times taht is for sure.

Combine that with "possibly cost team really big with abso-fucking-lutely moronic 15-yard penalty AGAINST YOU FOR BEING ON FIELD YELLING AT REFS" and I can't imagine what teams wouldn't be beating down his door to bid for his services. Lol...what a fucking idiot.

Dumbass obviously runs in the Ryan family.

1 top 10 defense, zero winning records, zero playoff appearances. What team would be running to make this hire?

Gotta give reps to CLEcnomically Speaking about his Caldwell/Roman rationale even though that is happening in Jax and not with the Browns.
Now, of course, the Jaguars will look for a new coach to head up a team that still has many questions. CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora has been reporting that one strong candidate for the job would be 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman, especially he and Roman are old college roommates from John Carroll.

Haha right. You hate the Ravens that much or you just want to see another Brady/Manning showdown?

I'm with him, bc I hate the Ravens. I dont watch ESPN anymore so I'm not concerned about BSPN beating the brady/manning showdown to death.

I love crushing Manning, but I can't stand Ray Lewis. I want him to go out in the worst way possible. If they get burned 45-0 I can't think of anything better.
