Under the theory that if a player has one very good start, they must be a great player and all the evidence pointing to that one game being a fluke IS PURE BULLSHIT SPUN BY THE LIBERAL MEDIA!!!!!

Yes. He scores touchdowns and wins. That is, when he plays.

lol clearly a winner, he's the back up to one of the worst QBs in the league. If you want to know what Tebow would be like as a good QB, go watch RG3.

Doesn't "scoring TD's and winning" usually entail "playing?" Most "good" QB's that score TD's & win, play. I'm confused...

He's 5 for 6 with 93 rushing yards...that's a solid 1st quarter right there.

You see, nobody BELIEVES in Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow is being BLACKLISTED by the NFL players and coaches because of the type of person he is. It's all a damn conspiracy that the NFL minds think he sucks.

Bow your head and lets pray.

A few years ago Buckeye fans hated Urban Meyer. They said Alex Smith was a bust and Tebow would be too. Now they LOVE Meyer and Smith is starting and winning. Meyer knows Tebow is a winner.
When he plays, he wins. Not his fault his new coach wants to be 3-6.

So you're saying if he played a whole game he would be 20/24 with 372 rushing yards. OK.

What I don't understand is how Tim Tebow comes in and the Jets run defense gets worse.

Sorry you are so easily confused. Tebow won in Denver when he played. In NY, he does not play. And they lose without him. But his spineless teammates anonymously say Tebow is the one who sucks. LMAO

If he was "good", he'd play. No confusion here.

In order for Tebow to get the nod I'd imagine he would have to EARN the opportunity. He obviously isn't showing a damn thing in practice and when he got PT in the preseason he was awful.

What does that say about his skills as a QB? How bad can he be? Obviously bad enough to STILL be sitting by god awful Sanchez.

He had a fluke season last year. Can he repeat those performances consistently? I highly doubt it and its obvious the coaching staff for the Jets (and Denver) agree with me.

I proved most of you wrong last year. Tebow was better than Orton. Fox & Elway didn't want to let Tebow play. Then Tebow won games with a sorry team. Elway wanted Luck but had to spend 19 million a year to ditch Tebow. Ryan likes Sanchez. He will get fired for it. Tebow just needs to get to a team with a coach who is good and he can be a winner just like Alex Smith. If you don't think so, ask Meyer.

Tebow is not an NFL quarterback. Hes sitting behind quite possibly the worst starting QB in the NFL, with a Head coach who isnt conventional by anymeans and he still cant even get on the field. If that doesnt tell you hes not cut out to be a QB idk what will.

Yeah, I don't see Rex Ryan as a guy who likes to lose. With the Jets losing, if Ryan thought Tebow were going to bring wins I'm sure he'd be playing. The fact he can't beat out Sanchez says volumes.

Here's the problem. Tebow is a running QB. He has no deep ball and is inaccurate from 10-20 yards. So if you make him your QB. You have to change a lot of things. Your coordinator has to change the playbook, you have to find recovers that aren't very good, because good ones sure as hell won't be running to that team to catch balls from tebow. You have to change your offensive lineman, to smaller more athletic ones. You're looking at spending years to do it, by that time you'll have seen tebow isn't worth it and have thrown away years for nothing.

Players in Denver were good teammates, they supported him while he was there. As soon as he left they were able to talk. They didn't want him there.
Ny players are idiots and should either not talk or put their name on it, but they're the players who see him every single day. It's obvious they think he's terrible. And they are better judges of talent then we will ever be.

Time to move on SOS. You're lover will never make it.

I agree with both of these. This isn't Pop Warner, and nobody (especially RR) cares whether they hurt anyone's feelings or not. They HAVE to win, and they'll play whomever will give them the best chance to do so. Tebow is not, nor will ever be, starting NFL quarterback material.
