Ha yeah. I asked him after the first post I saw but he didn't reply. I asked if he was the she guy that had the epic meltdown on OC. he was going off on how popular the steelers are with the same aggressive style. Then today I saw him posting about Italian soccer and he has that italia avatar he had here.

And DaVaris Daniels cited for underage drinking at a party at his house.

I hope that it was at least a quality beer.

Boo that. I'd much rather see ND (not North Dakota) join the B1G. That's where they belong IMO if they're going to join a conference. It makes sense on so many different levels. The ACC? Meh....

ND's holier-than-thou mentality is keeping them from joining any league.

Now is their time to make a move. NBC is probably kicking themselves for the TV deal they have with them. Nobody wants to watch ND v Navy

I would say it's due more to money than a holier-than-thou attitude. And judging by the current landscape of college football/athletics...$$$ is what is most important to ALL of them anyways so that's nothing unique to ND. Also, pretty sure NBC just extended the contract a couple years ago. And Navy vs. ND is on CBS this year.

That's because it's Navy's home game....even though it's being played in Ireland.

It's on CBS Sports Network. That's who Navy's deal is with.

If it was about money they would have joined the Big Ten before Nebraska did. Instead, they sat on their hands and their options are limited

They are a national brand. Joining the B1G would limit ND to the midwest and shrink their footprint significantly.

There also plenty of options including the preferred independence, ACC if it is able to survive, B1G, and the Big XII. The Big XII commissioner just said this week that the conference would discuss adding ND in the olympic sports only as long as ND would agree to play 3 or 4 conference teams in football.

@McMurphyCBS: Swarbrick said he hasn't heard any conference champ playoff proposals excluding Notre Dame if it finishes in top 4

As long as that's the case, there is no reason to join a conference.

Its not too big, that's not what I'm saying. Not shocked you aren't able to figure that out.

Yeah, I realize it's not considered an ND home game or else it would be on NBC. Also, ND's website has the channel for the game listed as CBS, not CBS Sports Network.

It's always about the money. Why do you think all these schools are conference-hopping and breaking deals with leagues after agreeing to join, etc. All of these conference networks and schools with their own network. $$$$
