GABP wasn't very polished when it opened, it's much nicer now. Also, there wasn't anything around. I think the Banks project has a lot to do with getting a potential ASG.

Saw John Fay say on Twitter that Jocketty is saying that the deal with Phillips will be done within a week.

It's been confirmed that he'll get 3 yrs 36 million for playing 2nd and batting first or second OR 3 yrs and 12 million for playing second and batting cleanup

Where did you see that? All the reports I've seen online are five years / $62.5 mil.
