Anyone catch the premier on HBO last night?

It's a mockumentary about Warrick Davies(Willow, Ewok). The scene with the door bell and Liam Nielsen had me rolling.

Luck, Eastbound and Down, and Lifes Too Short = best 2 hrs on TV

You like Luck? Haven't watched the 4th episode yet, but it just hasn't remotely captured my interest.

Saw previews for Life's Too Short and it looks pretty good. Will have to check it out.

Luck is terrible. I gave up after 3 episodes. I hardly paid attention during the 3rd episode.

Best 2 hours on TV though currently belongs to HBOs Rival, Showtime. And I like HBO more, but they are killing it.

Of course, when Game of Thrones starts back up, HBO will have the best whatever time period on TV. Thrones is that good.

LOL, have to agree. They've managed to create a show about horse racing, gambling and the mob with little to no drama/action/intrigue.

I think its interesting. I watch horse racing 3 times a year and then I don't think about it ever again. I have always wondered, what makes a derby horse and how do they know its a derby horse. So the story line with the Kentucky Derby winner's offspring is interesting to me. Im interested in the 4 degenerates that finally hit the big one and how thats going to pan out. Escalante is my favorite character, because I can't tell if I like him or hate him. The mob story line is starting to pick up. Overall I think its a complex show with multiple involved story lines and it keeps me coming back each week.

Lifes Too Short has the feeling of The Office when it was great. The first episode was a little slow but has potential to be great.

Luck just really bored me. I think it could have been so much faster, while still being good. But, I have HBO Go, so if they pick it up for Season 2, and I hear good things, Ill catch up at some point. But until then, I probably wont watch.

Lifes too Short I have to watch tonight. But the previews alone had me laughing.
