Don't we all wish.

I meant that if they were trying to make the realism of the missions the most important part of their film then perhaps they should just have made a documentary about the SEALS. I imagine that wouldn't sell as well though as "AN ACTION MOVIE STARING REAL NAVY SEALS!!!!!!!!!"Midstate01;1095208 wrote:Don't we all wish.
Hit the nail on the head. Whole movie comes off as a marketing ploy to me. Its funny, my co worker thought the trailer was amazing and looks at me goes "Awesome Right?"I Wear Pants;1095211 wrote:I meant that if they were trying to make the realism of the missions the most important part of their film then perhaps they should just have made a documentary about the SEALS. Why is that disrespectful? If I was at Arlington for a Military funeral procession and left a few minutes early, that I'd consider disrespectful.Benny The Jet;1095635 wrote:We had a few, thought it was really disrespectful.

Not so sure about being disrespectful leaving an action movie.
This is stupid. It's an action movie that a giant corporation is making millions off of. If you're offended by people leaving during the credits and aren't just as offended by the existence of this movie I don't know what to tell you.Benny The Jet;1095635 wrote:Just got done watching it. Thought it was awesome. Did anyone else have people leave at the end of the movie during the middle of the list that had all the SEALS that had died? We had a few, thought it was really disrespectful.

Everyone I have talked to liked it.hoops23;1098259 wrote:I went and saw this yesterday.
I'd give it a B-
Movie was actually good. Acting wasn't as bad as I thought from reading comments. You could tell during some of the exchanges that they weren't actors, but the action was still good. It's not a mindless action film like The Expendables or some other **** was... It had a decent plot that could have been executed a bit better, but wasn't bad by any stretch.

You didn't understand the narrative the first time? Does your wife keep your brain as well?thavoice;1114655 wrote:Saw this twice in the theatre. First time I ever went and saw a movie more than once. Friends were seeing it so I went even though I saw it already. I thought the second time around was better than the first to be honest with ya. I listened and understood more the narrative in the beginning and how they were setting up the movie at the beginning. The first time it seemed a little choppy but the second time it seemed to flow alot better.
I would given it 4* the first time, and the second time I would say 4.5 stars.
