The Barn is a tough place, but Tubbys squad just doesnt have it this year without Mbakwe. They gave a valiant effort this season, to be fair. But I just dont think they have enough.

Why do you say that? I think he is great, as do most people I talk to. About the only guy who speaks his mind truthfully about anything and everything.

Its very refreshing. He can analyze a play/game better than any other color man out there, imo. Jay Bilas would be close, but Bilas sometimes gets an ego on air. Though I do love him as well.

I also like that Dakich will talk about the immediate play and not go off on too many tangents. Sticks to the game, with a few relevant stories mixed in.

Helps he knows the Big Ten better than about anyone, and is an AAU coach, so he knows most of the players playing in the Big Ten VERY well.

Well you'd like him because he's an IU homer. I don't like him because he's annoying. Talks way too much. I just can't stand hearing him.

No offense, but he is not an IU homer. Some claimed him to be one, cause he picked IU to beat UK and OSU at home and said IU would win 23+ wins after he saw there practice. Maybe it was a homer call, but since he was right, its tough to call him on it. He is objective. It might sound like he is a homer calling there games, but thats cause he knows the players more.

I have no reason to like him cause he played/coached at IU. It wouldnt affect my thoughts at all.

I hate Bob Knight as a commentator, as well as Reggie Miller who is my favorite player.
