No, if he is going to give a shot by shot commentary he should at least get it right.

What does being a mod have to do correcting someones false commentary? Oh that's right it doesn't have anything to do with it.

My posts were on the golf tourney, yours were not. You derailed the thread. Now go QQ some more.

OK GUYS. I AM SORRY, IT DIDN'T QUITE HIT THE LIP BUT CAUGHT THE DEPRESSION RIGHT BY THE HOLE AND ENDED UP FINISHING ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HOLE.

I am sorry my message board play-by-play had a slight error. Good event- love seeing Tiger and Phil play together. I think it is a matter of time before Woods starts putting it all together. He just didn't have it today. That being said, he has only come back to win from 4 shots or more 7 times in his career, so this is hardly some extraordinary happening. He doesn't seem nearly as pissed off at bad shots as before and even gave an amicable post-round interview, whereas in the past he probably would have stormed out or said nothing.

Good day for golf.

Hard to say Tigers done, but hard to say he'll win a major again. He looks pretty average anymore. He's not automatic with the flat stick anymore. Thats how he used to win. The putter doesn't get better with age. He's in trouble.

Yeah, i agree with that sentiment. I wonder if it is just the fact that he is so focused on swing changes that he isn't getting the reps on the putting green, but it also seems to be between the ears for him. Should make for a ton of good story lines this year.

Thats the bottom line: Its still a good day for golf when Tiger and Phil are paired together and in contention!!

CBS showed the leader board of the top 10 players today and had him listed at the bottom of it when he really finished 15th. Leave someone off that deserves some press just to show his pathetic -8 75 today.

I hate him and TV.

No they didn't. He was either in a tie for second or a tie for third going into the final round. Either way, he was in the second to last pairing of the day because of where he was positioned. Do you know how they do the pairings because it seems as if you don't have a clue.

This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. He was the first in the clubhouse at -11 which gives him priority in the second to last group being in 3rd place.

Very true about it being good for golf when the two of them are in contention. Well good for the popularity and health of the game. Case in point: we have a two page thread on this event here, when the story last week was much more engaging and awesome. Kyle Stanley overcame a blown 3 shot lead on the 18th the week before at Torrey Pines to win the WM Open the next week, coming back from 8 shots down. It was Stanley's first tour win. Maybe the best comeback after a meltdown in just a weeks time, and there was not a mention of it on this site. But throw Tiger and Phil in the mix and we are all talking golf.

Why would he know that? He is only a Jim teecher.

Phil has absolutely owned El Tigre the past 5 times they have gone head to head. I'm not a huge Lefty fan either but when he's on the guy is in the top 3 best thats ever played the game.

Ratings were up 96% for the final round compared to last year.

But Tiger is bad for golf.

Just because CCRunner says something doesn't mean it's remotely true.
