Someone does , he or she is just SLOW submitting them as most of the other Divisions and brackets are already updated on the OHSAA website.

1st seed is playing 3rd seed? I heard on QKT that Smithville was one and Orrville 2nd and CCC was third and Dalton was 4th. CCC thinks they can beat Smithville easier than Orrville?

That's the way the Repository mentions it. CCC #3 , Orrville #2 plays Tuslaw 3-14 on the 22nd at 7:45, the 2nd game that night. CCC probably thinks they matchup better with the Smithies than the Riders.

I think CCC or Orrville wins this district. The only way I see to beat the Smithies is to keep your focus on shutting down the other four girls on the floor. Schafter isnt going to score more than 20-25 points with a decent defender on her. Focus on shutting down the rest of the team just like Orrville did last year. It will be a great tournament with some really good games to watch!

Smithville or CCC should win this, but they play each other. Orrville should win the other half of the bracket, but Dalton and Northwestern have a chance. Would Orrville rather play Smiithville or CCc?
CCC has a well rounded team with a big girl and a second good tall player with outside shooting. I haven't seen Smithville, but they have the good big player and others that can score.

This district should have a bunch of great games. It is a shame that CC and Smithville would face each other before the final. No doubt they are the best two teams on paper. I just remember last year when Schafter was the only Smithie who showed up against Orrville. It will take a team to win this district. Not sure Smithville has that yet but it will be fun to see. Would like to see the WCAL come out of this with the winner.

The Lady Smithies just closed out the regular season 19-0. It should be a great tournament!

The lady Smithies roll 63-23 over Rittman in the first round. Smithville 21-0
CCC beats Norwayne 36-24, not a great showing by the Crusaders.

Orrville and Northwestern win tonight. Orrville by around 18. Shot well from the line. Tuslaw was a lot better team than 5-16. Coach had them hustling and they could shoot from the outside.

Well, headed to Triway to root on the Bears. I think we are going to see an upset or two today. I think Hillsdale matches up real well with Smithville if the Smithies outside shooters are having a bad day. Falcons may be physical enough to make this a great game.

i haventwatched a lot of girls hoops, but these are really interesting matchups - smithville vs CCC is a contrast in styles and two very good teams. The second games pits Dalton's inside game/size vs orrville's quickness. Will be interesting to hear how they go.

Orrville and Smithville win. I thought Dalton outplayed us. Metzger had a great game and shot fouls in the 95% range. We would surge ahead then let them catch up. I thought the refing was good the first half and then they talked it over at half and changed the definition of a foul. Had and over and back that never happened (was corrected). Were in the way when Dalton passed out of bounds with 15 sec's in the overtime. Didn't call traveling when we rolled over, but gave us a TO. We were lucky to win. Will be tougher against Smithville, but their game didn't seem any better. Smithville didn't seem to be hitting on all cylinders, but should be the favorite in the finals.

I thought the slow down in the 4th quarter got Dalton back into the game. We probably should have kept on the attack and got fouls going to the basket so we would have had opportunity to go to the foul line instead of giving Dalton 3 fouls with no chance at us scoring from the line. So instead we had to many turnovers late. In the 4th quarter with a lead we should be at the foul line protecting a lead not trying to eat up clock time and almost letting it get away from us.
I believe Dalton had a regional team last year and had all their starters back, so no surprise at how they played tonight.

What was that Dalton play at the end of regulation? Metzger and Ketler at the top of the court? Why weren't they down at the post? And then at the end of OT, why in the world didn't the coach want the ball passed in to Ketler? Or get Metzger posting up on that side. Two blown opportunities to win the game. What a game! Just wish I felt that the game was decided by the girls play, not buy the coach's poor decisions.
