The Crosstown Shootout was one heck of a game this year. Xavier outlasted UC 83-79 in Double OT. Huge games for Holloway for Xavier and Lance Stephenson for UC.

Free throws once again doom UC. Can't wait to see what Ibrahima Thomas brings to the Cats during Big East play. I'm surprised he played at all tonight, but Toyloy is garbage so Thomas will really be an upgrade.

Yeah Cats weren't even 50% from the line. Xavier went about 85%. Toyloy was getting abused by Love all night (including one series where he blocked his shots two times in a row). I don't even think Toyloy went off the ground. That's pathetic.

Xavier seemed to allow points everytime Dante jackson wasn't on defense..and many of the times he was in late they got the stop

Heck of a game....Zavier took a lot of bad shots....but Cincy made a lot of poor decisions to make up for it

Big win for X

The worse (ultimately) was Vaughn's decision to lay it up down by three with 10 seconds left. WTF--- UC needed a three.

I guess worse than that was that Vaughn missed the layup!!!!

I don't mind going for 2 since there was 8 seconds, but the way X was shooting free throws it probably wasn't the best move.

Holloway was not going to let them lose, great game by him.

No coincidence there...the kid knows the game

Huge effort from Love & Holloway tonight. To borrow a quote from Denny Green: "(Lance Stephenson) is who we thought (he) was." A tremendous talent and a thug...

What a great game!! It was a huge effort and it seems that in years past free-throws have always been what costs Xavier the game. This time, they stepped up and shot lights out from the line! Props to Holloway for going 11-11!

I was disappointed with Xavier's shot selection most of the night...but at the end of the game, Mack knew to just put it in Holloway's hands and let him run the show.

Congrats to the Muskies on a much needed big win! And congrats to Coach Mack on being undefeated in the Shootout as a headcoach!!

Keep it up X!!!

Great game! Wish my Bearcats could have won but a tough double overtime game will help when close games start in Big East play!

Lets talk about some good things on todays horrible day to be a Xavier fan.

I just have to get this quick shot in to the UC fans that read this.

Whose city has it been the last 15 years? Talk about a marketing campaign coming back to bite you in the ass. Can't even knock us off in arguably our worst season the last 5 years.
