Can you answer this question, and this question only, with an honest (honest, not political) response? Why do you want to be married to someone? But seriously, same-sex marriage is already moving forward. Probably not as fast as you'd like, but it still is.
And my point is this "younger generation" is still going to have a large segment of anti-gays.

There are more than a hundred benefits married people get that unmarried people don't get. That includes straight people who are living together but not married. These include everything from hospital visitation rights to spousal insurance. I know a lovely lesbian couple in their 80s who have been together for 35 years. Someone needs to do an experiment.
Take the sperm from a gay guy and the eggs from a lesbian and create a child.
Have child grow up in a solitary environment until they hit puberty. then place them in an environment with a male and female and see what happens.
Same experiment would also have to include a child from two non homos

So getting married means nothing more to you than getting free benefits from the government? Just go on welfare and be done with it because not once have you stated that gays want to get married because they love their partner, you are only concerned with extra benefits that a real married couple receives. I agree with the tax break not needing to exist for married couples.
