Two gay men who say they were punched and pinned to the ground by an off-duty police officer before being called offensive names and jailed without their trousers have sued the city of Cleveland and its police over what they call anti-gay bias.

So the cop should be fired on the word of these two gay guys? Like these gay guys word is gold or something? I generally will defend gay people but these two don't seem credible. Multiple arrests and the article stated that COOPERATIVE arrestees are generally allowed to retrieve their clothes. These two sound like a couple of a-holes.

No corroborating evidence is cited. As this is the United States, hence, a presumption of innocence until proven guilty. They'll have their day in court.

If it was 2 normal guys who were arrested and sent to jail without their pants, FairwoodKing would not have a problem with it.

Same words spoken by every generation since the beginning of time. Every new generation is always smarter and more enlightened than ever before. Do you honestly not believe that the younger generation is more accepting of someone being gay than most of the older generation??

That's not true. Homosexuality has existed in every civilization throughout recorded time. It even exists in the animal kingdom. As far as the need to make more babies, let me remind you that this planet is woefully overpopulated. The planet cannot continue to house this many people forever. Most of the "gay hate crimes" that I have read about usually involve younger people. I didn't say all young people are tolerant. But the under 35 crowd overwhelmingly votes for gay rights.
