High Life for me. Used to be a PBR fan, but now it makes me hung over. Even a 6er sprread out over a night.

Whatever everyone else is drinking. Usually BL or Mich Ultra because that is what the wife drinks when we are out. If we are at a bar I will get a couple micros then start drinking liquor and coke or whatever the wife is drinking.

In college PBR was always $1/pint (2003-2008) at the bar next to our house. We would drink that when we were there.

Typically on a Saturday night, I'll start drinking around 5 or 6 in the evening, until the bars close at 2am. So, a low ABV beer works for me. Also, If I went to the bar and asked for a Dogfish Head blah blah blah, they would look at me like I had a dick growing out of my forehead.
You're frequenting the wrong bar, then.

Have you ever been to Chillicothe? There's not alot of choices as far as true bars go. There's maybe 5 bars you can go to and not risk getting shot or stabbed. Only one of those bars would offer anything like that, and it's a boring, old people bar.

What is Beer 30? Is that the actual name of the brand?

Edit: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/1422/32918

That what you're referring to? 54 is a pretty poor score but I've seen worse.

I like Bud Light. I will try this new version.

I like a lot of other beers, too and I like to try new ones all the time.

Here's a question for the beer snobs though. If given the choice.....Bud Light or Corona w/ Lime?
Corona w/lime, no contest

And as for you bud light platinum.........you still have not dethroned the king of alcoholics

Link is blocked at work, but it looks like this:

I remember being hazed as a pledge (as well as hazing pledges) with this beer, along with Schlitz. Horrible.

That was my beer of choice in college. 30-pack for 9.90 at Walgreens.

In college a 30 rack of PBR was $13 and no one wanted to drink it (all drank natty) thus I didn't have to worry about moochers.

They also serve soft drinks warm. Is that bc they taste better warm or bc they are cheap asses

Schlitz, in its prime, was before my time, but I hear it was good until they inexplicably changed the recipe? Can anyone confirm or debunk this?

You're only mad because I'm right. You aren't cool or special because you find beers that no one cares about and cost 10x more. Get over yourself, Bud Light is a great beer, its fantastic. I'd drink Bud Light any day of the week before I say stupid shit like "Bud Light isn't beer" LOL

Miller lite, Coors lite, and Bud Lite are all the same. It's been proven with blind taste studies with groups who claim to perfer one macro over another macro.

It's not God's gift to beer by any means, but it is a good beer for it's price point (I'll buy a case of it before Miller or Bud at the same price)

I had a few of these last night. I thought it was pretty good, but nothing to go crazy over. All beer is expensive as hell here so when I go out I'm definitely not getting a BL Platinum.

Also, the warm beer thing in England or whatever is a myth. It's there, but not very popular....with younger people at least.

I've heard the same arguement for Pepsi vs Coke and in college we did blind taste test. Picked them out easily with Cherry Coke, Dr. Pepper, and diet coke thrown in. I went 5 for 5. I could EASILY tell the difference between Bud Light, Bud, Miller Lite, and Coors light.

When I think Bud Light, I think beer. They make all of these IPA and random shit brews for people who don't actually like beer, but who like to be a snob/faux expert on what good carbonated drinks taste like. They make these faux beers for people who don't have anything else exciting going on in their life so they give them a platform to pretend they are better than someone else because they drink a beverage that no one has heard of and has a fancy name. Ironic, that they are paying 5x the price for something that isn't even beer, yet a concoction designed to breed and incubate arrogant pricks with no lives.
