Almost all beers over in England and Ireland are served at room temp. Like Mooney said, if the beer isn't piss, it's not bad at room temp. Might taste better to us cold since we're not used to it. But if the beer is good and it's room temp, you can drink it without wanting to spit it all over the person sitting next to you.

Also, this. I like to support American companies with my addictions.

Yes, what don't you get about it? It's quite simple: good beers taste the same cold or warm. The only difference is in temperature. Bad beers don't taste the same warm as they do cold, they taste like a completely different drink along with the difference in temperature.

If you're still confused, you're beyond hope, or you're just hopelessly trolling and being unfunny while doing so.

Every damn beer thread turns into a "smoker" thread with everyone telling others how stupid they are for their choices...quite comical really.

Where did I call anyone stupid? I called out Anheiser Busch for being an evil corporation and explained why I think Bud Light sucks. Then I questioned why someone who wants to get drunk from beer would drink beer with low alcohol content.

Also: how are you adding anything to the thread with your "just chiming in bros, lolz!" bullshit? You just derail shit with stupid comments like that.

Pot meet kettle...and how is bringing up $12 sixers of bottled brown stuff, IP, limited edition whatever not derailing it? Warm to boot lol. Easy broheim, just making an observation.

It is not a great beer. At all. Not even a good or average beer either.

False.

Beers should be served at different temperatures depending upon the style/specific beer.

Macro lagers like Bud Light tend to be served as close to freezing as possible because the taste receptors don't recognize as much flavor in cold things as warm so the cold hides some of the flavor.

Other beers are drank at specific temperature ranges because it is where they tend to taste best.

With that said, I will try it.
Shut the fuck up you probably think Mcdonald's makes good food.

Bud Light is NOT better than Coors.

With that said, give me a Sam Adams or Guinness over those.

Yuengling is overrated in my eyes as well.

Honestly, the way I look at it is like this:

1. You plan to have a long day of drinking. Like this Saturday when the OSU game is at 2 and, well, I'm not stopping at 4! Domestic beer is great because you can drink double digits and still be functional until late in the day.

2. You want to enjoy some beers. Like tonight, for me. You have some good stuff. 1 Sam Adams Imperial Series Double Bock (9.3%); 1 Dogfish's Midas Touch (9%); a sixer of Harpoon's Winter Warmer (5.2%) to wash it down. I don't need all my fingers to count what I drank, but damn! I FEEL GOOD!!! And never felt like I was drinking piss-water at any moment. Even with this last Harpoon, which has taken like 80 minutes to put to rest because I'm at the "should I call in sick tomorrow?" point of the night.

Only phags and dumb asses would drink Bud Lite over a quality American beer like Pabst, Old Milwaukee or Schlitz.

PBR is the true 'merican beer.

At any rate, I like myself micro brews and drink them most often. If I am in a social setting where I will be drinking long periods of time (like OSU tailgate) I will be drinking a macro brew. I like the taste of water. If water gets me drunk, that is pretty awesome in my book. I am not sure why people can't like both sides.

Secondly please provide a link when you say InBev adds "chemicals" to Budlight to make it taste better cold.

IWP thank you for bringing the truth to this thread.

LOVE those blue bottles. Look sharp. (No, I don't drink my beer because of the color of it's bottle).

Mooney44Cards;1072936 wrote:This makes no sense. You drink to get drunk so you drink a beer with a very low alcohol content? Try a 4-pack of Dogfish Head 90-Minute IPA at 9% ABV. Or try the Bell's seasonal Hopslam that's out right now: 10% ABV.
I should clarify, I only drink socially, and it's usually for a long period of time. Typically on a Saturday night, I'll start drinking around 5 or 6 in the evening, until the bars close at 2am. So, a low ABV beer works for me. Also, If I went to the bar and asked for a Dogfish Head blah blah blah, they would look at me like I had a dick growing out of my forehead.

Warm beer? Are you fucking kidding me? This isn't England.

Here's a question for the beer snobs though. If given the choice.....Bud Light or Corona w/ Lime?

What is your quantity over quality beer of choice, PBR or something different?
