The stats are higher than I would've guessed. Gotta admit I've texted...
A new study of mobile phone habits shows 75 percent of people have texted, emailed, used apps or surfed the web while nature calls.

On it right now. Before the iPhone I would run the garbage can upside down and prop the laptop on it.

My phone can barely text and barely make calls. My work phone is a landline phone because I don't want people bugging me 24/7 when I'm trying to relax after a long week of work.

So no, I'm in the 25%. Book it!

Hmm, could be because I think having a smartphone is a waste of money and productivity? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that you can't accumulate wealth by spending it.

Use my phone all the time while in restroom except to talk! I will text, email, web surf, apps, etc...but I don't talk on the phone while going either! Heck I don't like to talk to anyone while in the restroom period!

I'd rather only invest in assets that increase my future wealth. A smartphone does not do that, neither does a fancy car, etc. Wealth producing assets are all I care about. Now if you have some suggestions on how a smartphone can generate more future income than the cost associated with the smartphone, I'm all ears.

I figured it would be more than that. I presume it is the old fogies who brought down the numbers.

Playing on your phone has replaced for many reading a book/paper/magazine while on the crapper. I wouldnt talk on the phone, but text and surfing the web...yeah...I can see 75% and higher doing that.
