An anti-Fly4Fun poll. Nice.

I'd definitely be ashamed if I went to an Ivy League school.

Also, I'm pretty pissed Marietta College isn't on this list. It's clearly the worst of the bunch. They gave me a degree and I can't find a job to save my life.

Save for U of Phoenix which I know is worthless, DeVry, ITT and OCC are great for some people. Decent ROI. You won't go into massive debt and you can gain some skills that are usable in the workforce. Most of the people who graduate from DeVry, ITT and OCC are employed. Sure they probably won't be leading Fortune 500 companies but they will be working and making an OK living.

And before you ask, no I didn't go to any of these schools. Graduated from the prestigious University of Toledo.

I attended DeVry University in Columbus. Because there are no Summers off there, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Systems Security in less than 3 years. Many don't know, but DeVry is a fully accredited university, not just a community college or trade school. It originally started with business and technical expertise, but it has recently begun expanding into the nursing industry, as well. Their career services is top-notch and helped me throughout my time there with anything from scheduling to advice on how much to ask for starting salary on a job application, based on experience, industry, and company. I received outstanding classroom and real-world knowledge and experience there, and I'm happy with the choice I made.

Only 3 months after college graduation, I got my career job, working for a Fortune 500 company doing exactly what I always wanted to do. After 3 1/2 years there, I make 16% more than the average household income in my school district. Those are just the facts. Any school can be useful and lead to success, but it all depends on the person and whether or not it was the right fit, and how ambitious that person is after graduation.

That being said, I visited ITT Tech (2 different campuses) before choosing DeVry. For those looking into the IT field, I would highly recommend DeVry over ITT, and especially over Bradford, which I also visited. Bradford, by the way, should be in this poll. Haha!

BONUS POINTS!

I went to Owens and got an Associate's degree and it landed me a job so it wasn't too bad of an investment. Also I only accumulated 12K of debt for going 3 years.(I know it's a 2 year degree, but I had a few piss poor advisors pick classes for me that weren't for my major so I had to make up time the whole way) Where do I accumulate my bonus points?
