-Defending the 3 was atrocious. Wisconsin had to have had about 15 wide open three point attempts. Luckily they didn't make them or this would've been a completely different game
-Defensive rebounding was terrible at times. I believe Wisconsin got 3 or 4 offensive rebounds in a row before finally scoring on one possession in particular.
-Buford was terrible once again. For some reason this guy just can't play outside of Columbus. Yea he finally hit a three when it counted but he is one of the few players I can remember that has actually gotten worse throughout his career instead of better.
Good things: Defense overall was good, Sully was a beast, and Craft was Craft but he needs to develop some kind of offensive game. He's still one of the worst free throw shooting point guards in the country which is gonna hurt come tournament time.
Bucks come home for a couple now, let's hope they continue to improve.
NO such thing as an UGLY win @ Wisconsin. Especially since its the first since 2000!!
Defending the 3 isn't a concern. I am sure if Wisky was hitting, they would have tightened up. They have played better 3pt shooting teams (Duke/Florida) and did just fine.
They outrebounded Wisky for the game by 5. On top of that, they had 9 offensive rebounds to Wisky 7. No big deal.
There is no question, Buford shooting is a concern. When he is on, OSU is THAT much better. They have shown they can win without him being on. But he definately takes them to another level. I hope he finds his touch soon.
Craft isn't a scoring PG. Nor does OSU need him to be. They have enough offense. He is doing what he needs to do, run the offense, and play defense. He played Taylor as well as anyone has. 12pts on 4/10 shooting, forcing 3 turnovers.(had zero in previous 4 games!) Craft isn't pretty by any stretch, but he just gets it done.
