That was the original plan.....but now it may be out the window. With Tullius injured and fighting to get back anything is possible. I do know that Boswell has not certified at 132 yet if he does decide to go there.....nor has Tullius been at 138

Hammond (CW) I would be surprised to see him at 32. He's definitely top 4.
I haven't seen anything about Tanner Miller (L)? If he is in...I have to believe he gets out.

There are definitely more to watch. I'll be back.

I think he was referring to Boswell at 132. I'd also be surprised if Hammond is at 132.....he just certified at 126 last Thursday.

Hammond already certified at 26. He could make it to state at that weight(depends on if anyone else drops)
Miller should be at 38, he was there a couple weeks ago and looked good. Lord Brakeman had him on the bubble to get out to State. Im not quite ready to put him that high, but it depends on where Boswell/Tululis and some other possible movement goes. Hes a big physiclal 38 lb Frosh.

Watkins could get 6-7 out this year.

Thinking Lieb at 120, Lancia at 138, Robb at 145, Cameron at 152 and a couple more guys who could it with the right weekend.

Those guys being Scott at 113, Holter at 126, Bankes at 132, and George at 220.

Long shots, but looking stronger depth wise then we have in a few years.

Whetston has descent light-weights. 106 and 113 were district alternates last year. Scioto has two studs at 160/170 (Fox) and 220 (King)

Both whetstone boys are tough, but im pretty sure only the 106 was a district alternate.

Tullius wasn't a state qualifier. I guess it doesn't matter since he is out . Very sad to see a tough kid who has worked hard at for a few years be out his senior year. Very nice kid too.

No that is not certain....yet. He has not returned, but still has a shot to make it back. Good luck to him....

113 lb may be toughest weight class here. have to favor Spearman (LAN), but have Orr(PN),Chang(RB),Conklin(WHET),Barnes(CW), plus quality kids from (HB)&(WATK) too. Good warmup for Darby!

Chang ranked #16 in Brakeman. Orr has wins over Chang & Barnes. Conklin #1 in Cbus City League. Having #2 or #3 seed very important here. Like to be fly on the wall at seeding meeting.

I'd imagine Spearman would be the clear cut #1. Orr and Chang have wrestled upwards of four times over the past two or three years. Chang has won all but the most recent, which is obviously the most important. I don't think it would matter much who gets two or three, but I'd bet that Orr gets 2 and Chang gets three. Erwin finsihed behind Chang at Watkins, and Everyone has had tight bouts with the Canal boy. I'd think Erwin would be 4th, the district alternate from Whetstone gets 5th, and the Canal boy gets 6th. Personally, I'd say Spearman v. Chang in the finals. I think Orr takes 3rd, and who ever wins between Erwin and Canal qulaifies out. Just my two cents

Spearman would be a definate favorite but if anyone could pull an upset it would be Orr. They had a good match last year won by Spearman in close dec.(can't remember exact score). So looking forward for my best guess 1)Spearman 2)Orr 3)Chang 4)Conklin , sure to be some nailbiters though.

Tullius is a stud. I would think with the time missed, and the brutality of 138 this might be a good move. Here's wishing him the best.

Pantherdad,
Orr certainly has improved a great deal this year. You may be correct. Should be an interesting battle. I would think the lower half of the bracket would be pretty loaded due to the semi-final losers. That could make for some interesting first and second round matches, and weight loss will certainly play an effect here as those guys who struggle to maintain my be in for an early round upset if their lacking energy.
