I am not sure there a great many Toledo City League that have migrated here. I surely hope our numbers improve in the future. I recognize a few names from the past, but there are a lot of names MIA as well.

So you're saying the class of 2011 isn't strong?

Thanks for clarifying for me 2quik4u. Upon reading my earlier post I can see my grammar and the expression of my ideas left a little to be desired. Must have been in a hurry.

You're missing running back Caleb Goings from Central Catholic. He was first team all city at running back this season.

You have to include the other DE from Whitmer I believe Chris Wormley.

Most of those guys that made second team will move up to 1st team next year. You might have some surprises - there could be a couple shifts - Yodzis, for one, will likely start QB his sr. year - and from what time he did get at QB this year, in addition to jv his soph year - he's got potential to place 1st team offense versus defense, where he made 2nd team this past year.

I think you may be a bit confused fella.

What is he confused with Doggruff? Also, Chris Wormley is class of 2012 and will only be a junior next year. He was an all state honorable mention pick as a sophomore.

Dogruff - please clarify? Confused that most of those Juniors on second team won't make first team next year? Confused specifically about Yodzis (who I also understand was one of just two captains elected by his team for the next season) starting at QB for St. Francis next year? I'm not saying he won't continue to play Free Safety next year - Cromwell likes to have several 2 way starters - just like their QB Johnston did this year. I'm fairly certain that I'm right on both accounts...

Yodzis is a heckuva ball player. Now I know Coach Cromwell will never change per say, however against Avon Lake I saw glimpses of him opening up the offense a bit (formation and play calling wise) and it was nice to see Johnston show off that arm of his. I hope to see more this next season with the 6'3/6'4 200lb. Yodzis, who has a rocket of an arm as well.
There is no reason in my honest opinion that Johnston nor Yodzis cant play D-I QB.

From Buffalo NY. School website doesnt have much for football other than a roster that simply lists names and year (no jersey #, ht. or wt.). With that said, their roster (assuming it is from last year) only lists 55 kids and about 15 are freshman.
Looks like they try to play all Catholic schools. Went 1-9 last season. With combined size and record, it doesnt look like they much to offer in the computer points department.

They're terrible. Irish buffalo stated the facts why. I'm not sure why or how CCHS scheduled this team. But hopefully the Irish won't overlook them as an easy victory.

if a QB wanted to better his career, Whitmer would certainly be the place to do it. Whitmer without a doubt has one of the best programs in the area.

I'm thinking it's a rumor...unless it's a freshman - not familiar with that class. Yodzis and Chandler are staying put, as is Meinert. Could be whomever backed up Meinert on JV last year or a frosh...but haven't heard anything groundshaking over there on Bancroft.

that all depends on whom you talk to , or whom you listen to. I do however know for a fact that some players are not happy with the politics on Bancroft st. therefore nothing would surprise me. I doubt you would have heard until it was a done deal.
