Cain's ground game is underrated. The way he rides opponents with his wrestling skill is pretty damn good and one of the best I've seen in MMA in using his wrestling riding skills in the octagon. Don't forget in 12 fights only 2 have went the distance and you have to applaud JDS for surviving this weekend he showed a ton of heart.

Miller vs Lauzon deservedly won fight of the night, man what a fight that one was.

My biggest dissappointment was the fans booing JDS after the fight. What horsecrap, the man just fought 4 rounds with a broken jaw and showed a ton of heart and you boo him?

We aren't Brazil.

Cain was dominant for sure, want to see Overreem vs Cain soon.

Yeah that was a sad moment when Junior asked the crowd, "why are you doing that" when they were booing.

Bummer JDS lost, I'm not a Cain fan. I'd like to see Reem beat him but I don't see Reem staying on his feet to do it.

Reem has better take down defense than he is given credit for and he is a monster in the clinch. The thing that I would be worried about for Reem is his gas tank if Cain outs that pace on him that he put on JDS. I think we will see JDS win one fight and fight for the title again, wouldn't surprise me to see JDS and Cain fight 2 more times before all is said and done. I feel bad for JDS next opponent, he is going to destroy someone lol

Loser of the Reem/Silva fight? Who would you put him up against. I can't think of anyone off the top of my head.

I would love to see him fight Mark Hunt from a pure fan aspect lol, although Hunt has to fight Struve in early March and it may not make sense ranking wise. Loser of Reem/Big Foot makes sense, I've wanted to see Reem and JDS for a long time, possibly the best HW match up I can think of off the top of my head.

Big Country is making his way back into HW contention. Other than Cain, he is the only guy to ever go the distance with JDS.

Big Country needs to go up against someone like Big Foot (who I don't consider on the same level as JDS/Cain/Reem/etc) and then possibly be in the mix with the top dogs.

Yeah I think Roy is one top 10 fight away from being in title contention. Who that is I have no clue right now? Maybe Cormier if he comes over and but the word is that if he stays at HW that he will fight Frank Mir. Most of the other top guys are tied up at the moment.

I think they will fast track Cormier if he beats Mir!

Cormier is a small enough HW that he could drop to LHW, and a fight between him and Jones would be huge.

However, I have heard Mir first as well since that was supposed to happen in SF.

Cormier may be more inclined to drop to LHW now that Cain reclaimed the belt. The question is can he make the cut? Last time he tried supposedly his kidneys shut down.

He had trouble cutting weight for the olympics and that was 211LBs I believe.

Carwin went the distance with JDS as well.

Yeah I can't see the UFC booking a huge fight(say against Jones) if they don't even know he can make the weight. Too bad him and Cain wouldn't fight because that would be a great fight.

Really excited for this last Strikeforce show and for them to move over to the UFC, tons of talent being brought in.

I saw an interview with Bob Cook (AKA trainer) and he said on the day of the Cain/JDS fight that Cormier was 230 lbs and still eating junk food. He said if he took his diet seriously he could be like Randy and go back and forth between LHW and HW taking big fights.

That's nuts if true, Cormier would be a monster at 205 if he had cardio to go with it after the cut.

Last Strikeforce even ever this weekend, kind of sad really. They have produced a ton of great fights and shows over the last few years and I always looked forward to there events. Showtime is also having a FREE preview this weekend so everyone can watch. There are some important fights on the card, a lot of guys who may need to win to be brought over into the UFC. I'm very excited to see what these guys can do once brought over, still a lot of talent left there.

Here is the video, says he is still drinking "soda pops."

The new talent coming to the UFC will be great. Melendez, Jacare, Rockhold, DC, Barnett, etc etc.

Lots of great match ups. I'd love to see DC fight Jones, I think he'd knock him out. He's got the wrestling to keep it standing and the power to put Jones to sleep.

I'm interested in seeing Mousasi (spelling?) fight in the UFC.
