I hope Brock makes it back soon. Not that I'm a fan (in fact...I'll probably root against him in every fight he ever has), but he is good for the sport. In my mind, every sport or organization is better when there is "somebody to hate." I haven't been a Brock fan since day one, and I honestly cannot tell you why. However, he is a tremendous athlete, and will be a very tough challenge for anybody to knock off the top of that mountain. Personally, I feel like the Frank Mir we saw against Kongo poses the biggest threat to Brock. If Frank is truly dedicated to his physical training, I think his all around game poses a bigger threat to Brock than any other HW in the UFC right now. No matter how much I dislike Lesnar, I would be so excited to watch him fight Fedor. Probably about as excited as I was for Chuck v. Wanderlei.

Rampage vs Rashad is going to be at UFC 114 now, which im kind of glad, 113 was going to be a bit too stacked.

Just watched Brock and Dana on Sportscenter. Looks like Brock will face Mir/Carwin winner this summer!

Here is a link to mmajunkie's recap of the interview:

More on Lesnar's return:
http://mmajunkie.com/news/17624/white-says-lesnar-could-return-for-ufc-114-champ-welcomes-fight-with-stalker-mir.mma
"I don't think I beat [Mir] as bad as I could, so for me to get my hands on that stalker again – Frank Mir has made it a mission of his life," Lesnar said. "Frank Mir the stalker – it's been a while since I've had a stalker, but we'll take care of that if I ever face him again."
"I'll just sit back, I'll sharpen my skills, and I'll be prepared for either one of those guys," Lesnar said. "If it's Nogueira, if it's Velasquez, I know one thing: all them guys are [expletive] their pants right now."

i love Brock man. he's not a shit-talker he's just matter of fact.

He's had 5 career fights. do we really need to see him fight one guy for the 3rd time in 6 fights? Lets not forget he has dominated every single minute of both fights except for 10 seconds when he left a leg out in a rookie error. Mir will just get pummeled again regardless. He can get as big as he wants, he doesn't have the genetics Brock has for the natural weight and strength that Lesnar brings with him. Brock will man-handle him again and we'll have wasted another 6 months.

We know Lesnar pounded Mir to hamburger both fights but the fact remains Mir won fight 1. They are 1 - 1, so I have no problem with the rubber match. Brock will destroy him again then that chapter is over!

If it wasn't Mayweather/Mosley this wouldn't be happening. It makes better business sense, it will draw more PPV's on another date. He is right though, boxing is f'd. The whole Mayweather/Pacquiao thing was a disaster!! Outside of Mayweather and Pacquiao where are the $$ draws in boxing??

is Evans-Jackson really going to happen in May?

I think they should push the card back to UFC 114 and headline that. UFC 113 just looks to awesome to be true.

Well I just find it funny that he claims boxing is dead. Then he won't even go up against it.

He's not going up against boxing, its going up against Mayweather, the only boxer that can out draw them. If Mayweather doesn't fight this night the UFC stays on the same date. Any other boxer would have no impact on the UFC.

Ok you are right he can't beat Mayweather and he made a decision that makes business sense. Is there any other boxers that can alter the UFC PPV plans? I would bet you if Lesnar was fighting that night it wouldn't have been moved!!

Theres no MMA fight imaginable that would outdraw any combination of Mayweather or Pacquiao.

We will agree to disagree there and we probably won't get that opportunity to see if that would happen.
