Edgar is tough and a game opponent, but there is just absolutely nobody in the LW division that can even make it worth Penn's time. i hate it too because i can't stand B.J. but nobody in the UFC can beat him at 155.

Bj Penn is light years ahead of anyone in Lightweight right now. Gray Maynard??Frankie Edgar? All good fighters but not in Bj leagues, it will take an epic upset along the lines of a Serra/GSP for Bj to lose his title.

I'd agree with your LW assessment. When watching Gray against Diaz, the only thing I could think was that Penn would utterly maul either guy in that match.

Hm I just read on Junkie where Leben was the highest paid fighter of Fight Night 20. When did he fight? I know I missed the Maynard fight but I also missed Leben's fight. Who did he fight?

The UFC needs to find some major talent in their 3 lower weight classes. None of the 3 are all that interesting right now. I just assume that Anderson, GSP, and BJ are going to win every time they step into the Octagon at their respective weight classes. I honestly don't think that either one has a true challenge left in their division. I think Hendo could have pushed Anderson had he not left the UFC. GSP has no peers at 170, and BJ will remain untested at 155 until the UFC upgrades the talent pools in those divisions.
