Coulda been probably shoulda been but alot of the punches Rua threw were weak bc he was so tired so it didnt create to much damageHow was round 5 not 10-8? ****ing crazy, both had each other hurt multiple times, I thought Hendo was damn near out on his feet when Shogun landed that uppercut, please have a rematch.

He held mount the entire round and ground and pounded, that is a 10-8 round without question in my mind, unreal fight though, one for the ages.sportchampps;980316 wrote:Coulda been probably shoulda been but alot of the punches Rua threw were weak bc he was so tired so it didnt create to much damage

I thought both guys had a 10-8 round which means it came down to hendo winning rounds 1 and 2 10-9 (was it the 3rd he almost finished him? I think it was 10-8 for hendo) over ruas 10-9 in the 4th
So stoked hendo won. If this were a 3 round fight we'd be talking about how shogun was completely dominated and i probably would've been calling him overrated. But damn did he end strong, i'm definitely a shogun fan after this fight.
Love the interview with rogan "That guy can take an effing punch!" -hendo

Watched that Chandler/Alvarez fight and that was sick! Looked like Alvarez almost quit though. Fedor defeated Monson by unanimous decision in a fight where he bloodied and dropped Monson several times, and took little to no damage himself.

Does anyone have a clue as to the method of how the UFC pays the fighters? I saw somewhere that Cung Le made the most money and he was the loser of the first main event fight.

Anderson Silva will be out til June. When guess what, the UFC is speculated to go back to Brazil.
Also, looks like it'll be Sonnen/Munoz on UFC on FOX 2

It's all contractual, most make a base salary then get that same amount bonus if they win. Some are contracted with no win bonus. Cung was set to make 350k for the fight, then he got the 70k bonus for fight of the night. Honestly that is only disclosed pay, and is not accurate, they don't actually release what these guys make. The upper echelon guys make a center percent of the pay per view, someone like GSP probably gets 2-3$ for every ppv buy. He was quoted saying that he makes 4-5 million a fight. Then you always have sponsorships which can be quite substantial.bigdaddy2003;984546 wrote:Does anyone have a clue as to the method of how the UFC pays the fighters?
