I still don't think he deserves to fight for the title right now, but it's whatever.

Machida will present different problems for Jones than he has ever faced. Rampage and Shogun pretty much walked strait forward and were easy targets for Jones, Machida won't do that. Will be interesting to see if Jones gets wild with his striking if Machida can catch him. Machida also has tremendous take down defense. Machida is the only guy with even a slim chance to beat Jones imo.

Me too but I don't think Silva has the wrestling to beat Jones, bad match up for him imo.

Shogun or Hendo
Le or The Axe Murderer
Bowles or Faber
Kampmann or Story
Bonnar or Kingsbury

Bader vs Brilz on the prelims? Wow.

I forgot about Fedor fighting Monson this weekend also.

Also, why is everyone so big on shogun? He has one quality win in the UFC and that was against Lyoto. He's beaten 1 top 10 contender since joining the UFC. He's overrated.

Completely disagree, while he has been inconsistent with injuries hampering him, he is extremely dangerous. Chuck and Forrest were great wins. I think if Hendo stands with him that Shogun will be the first person to finish him with strikes.

Completely disagree...chuck was passed him prime. He had been KO'd by Rampage and Evans and people were already talking about his weak chin and being old. And Forrest? KO'd by evans and silva, barely beats an old tito and gets a decision over a guy who is a middle weight.

I don't see Hendo getting KO'd, i see shogun being aggressive and getting put to sleep.

Yeah, Shogun is definitely dangerous. I think he finishes Hendo in some shape or form.

Just because those guys had been finished previously to fighting Shogun doesn't mean they weren't dangerous and top ten fighters. I know Hendo's chin is legendary but people forget that Shoguns is as well, he can take some serious punishment. I think it would be in Hendo's best interest to use his wrestling since Shogun doesn't have the best defensive wrestling.

I just don't agree that Shoguns road to the title was very hard. He beat coleman and chuck and he got a crack at the title. He had two great fights against machida but i think that KO was his only quality win. I don't think Chuck was very dangerous. Shogun was a younger faster fighter and we all knew if chuck got caught he was going lights out. Also, forrest doesn't finish many guys and i thought that was fight was also just a matter of time before forrest got beat up. He's big and slow.

I'm not saying shogun isn't dangerous or a great fighter...just think he's a little overrated right now. I think hendo will counter punch him out. He may use his wrestling, but shogun is no slouch on the ground.

Shogun's standup is superior to Hendo's imo, way more diverse of an attack.

More diverse...but i think dan hits harder and doesn't need to connect as much as shogun will.

He may hit harder but Shogun will land more, with kicks, knees and punches. Dan throws little more than a right hand anymore and got clipped by Feijao and Fedor. Would be curious to see if Shogun could take one of those right hand bombs lol, both these guys probably have the best chins at 205 and in all of MMA. I'm hoping for a 5 round stand up war.

Totally agree. I thought Fedor was going to finish the fight, he also had 20 pounds on him so that punch definitely had some force.

The good thing is, both guys know how to put on a good fight, we won't see any pussy footing in there

Fedor by sub after rocking him on the feet. Would like to see Fedor string 3 or 4 wins together and M1 to keep their heads and find a way to get him into the UFC, not likely to happen but there would be some amazing match ups there for him.

What I respect about Hendo is his willingness to fight whoever at whatever weight basically, total badass and warrior.
