Thats what Machida gets for running like a puss for 2 rounds and landing like 3 punches in the first 2 rounds. Glad Rampage won

UFC 127 is looking to be buy-worthy. Also rumored for that card is Wanderlei Silva vs Akiyama

1. I'm a huge fan of both fighters.
2. Machida did VERY little in the first 2 rounds. Rampage didn't do much more, but he controlled the Octagaon while Machida ran in circles. In the rules of MMA, that's 10-9 rounds for Rampage.
3. In round 3, Machida definitely kicked Rampage's butt. If this was Pride's scoring system with a "total damage done over the fight" type scoring, then Machida wins. However, by rules in the US, they are 10-9 rounds, so whoever wins more rounds, wins the fight.

By rule, Rampage won that fight, it was judged correctly. If it was a bar fight or whatever, Machida wins. By MMA rules, Rampage wins.

124 looks alright. I will probably get it, 125 is probably a computer ppv for me, 126 is a definite buy, and 127 is a buy.

bigdaddy, what draws you to 124? I can't stand the thought of ordering a PPV when Struve-McCorkle is the "co-main event."

124 will be online for me (if at all), and 125, 126, 127, and 128 buys at home.

Ha I was hoping they would add another fight to it but I wasn't thinking it was the next ppv so they more than likely won't. Online viewing for that one.

Rampage won that fight easily. Rounds 1 and 2 were him 3 Machida.

Not really that hard, Machida did fuck all but backpedal the first 2 rounds and one flurry that doesnt even finish the fight sure as hell doesnt overturn 2 rounds of nothing.

Man, that's rough. Dude had a 10-match win streak (three or four in the UFC where the ones I saw, he looked impressive) before losing recently. Goes to show if you're unheralded (which he was, as an early exit from TUF 7), you have no room for error.

The UFC is walking a fine line by cutting guys like Harris. White will say its because his last fight was not exciting but that is total BS if he wants to call it a sport. He needs to make up his mind on whether he wants the best fighters or the most exciting fighters.

Lay off Machida's sack for a second and you'll realize that foot stomps, "Octagon Control", a few punches, etc definitely beat out backpedalling and circling.

No doubt about it in the 3rd round Machida owned Rampage.

However, the 1st 2 rounds neither did a whole lot, but by the rules of the game, Rampage won the 1st 2 rounds.
