I don't think Rashad can handle Rampage's power.

If a fighter doesn't want to fight then it leaves White no choice!

There's that and the fact that Alexander hasn't won a fight since 2007. He's a 37 year old one trick pony who has been shown to have a suspect chin at best. I used to laugh every time I heard Joe Rogan proclaim "Houston Alexander is for real" when I was playing UFC Undisputed 2009.

Rashaad may only have one loss, but he hasn't fought anybody with Page's power yet. If/when his head is on right, Rampage is one of the most dangerous fighters in the UFC. One punch and he can end any fight he's in.

He was already offered the Fedor fight when Barnett tested positve. Lashley then turned it down to get some further fights and training. Signs with Strikeforce now, Fedor is signed and it will be a huge money draw. If Lashley wins his first fight he will either fight one more then fight Fedor or go right from that against Fedor IMO!

Has anyone seen Lashley fight? I haven't seen one yet. What's your impressions? Odds if he does go up against Fedor?

^I watched him fight Bob Sapp. He has potential but right now Fedor would eat him up.

I agree Fedor destroys him but it comes down to draw and $$!! I will give Srikeforce alot of credit they are signing big names and have potential for some interesting fights. It's good for MMA!

^Yeah, that is true. I wouldn't mind seeing it but I don't discriminate against too much in the MMA world.

I think Strikeforce is going to be good for the UFC. If they continue signing top notch fighters and putting on good shows, Dana and company are going to have to make some changes. He can't keep being the arrogant ass he normally is if his isn't the only good brand in the business.

I watched it.

Penn walked on Sanchez
Mir submitted Kongo
Florian won via ref stoppage

Pretty decent pay per view.

After watching the promo for the Mir/Kongo fight, all I have to say about Mir is that the dude is an asshole. My two cents.

Unfortunately he backed all the talk with action and submitted Kongo quickly.

Mir vs. Nelson?
Mir vs. Lesnar III in the future?

I'm guessing either Florian again or Gray Maynard if Maynard beats Nick Diaz on January 11th.

I want to see Maynard vs. BJ. Think it would be a decent match up. I also would like to see Mir vs. Big Nog again, the first match up everyone said Nog wasn't 100%.
So I think I remember reading on here we have to wait until like March for the next title fight, is that right?

Probably, but who wouldn't he walk on? (Besides GSP)

BJ's biggest competition at 155 is probably not fighting in the UFC right now. There are some great lightweights in Japan that the UFC should make a run at to give BJ some competition. Right now the UFC doesn't really have anybody in his league. Grey Maynard would be my choice for the next title shot.

KenFlo looked very good again tonight against Guida (who tends to make people look a little off their game).

Mir looked like an absolute beast. Cheick Kongo is no slouch, and Mir made him look like an amateur. He probably put himself in the discussion for another shot at the belt in the near future, and deservedly so.

I agree outside Maynard Penn's competition rests outside the UFC in Japan!!

And I'm not sure how much competition Maynard will really provide for BJ. He is the logical next foe though, seeing as he is unbeaten in the UFC. BJ just looks like a man amongst boys at 155. He made Kenny Florian and Sean Sherk (both very good fighters in their own right) look completely overwhelmed. I guess this is what you expect from a no doubt Hall-of-Famer like BJ.

IMO Maynard will be his toughest test right now in the UFC but don't think he has enough striking to hang with Penn. His wrestling is fantastic but Penn has shown many times he can hang on the ground with great wrestlers as his BJJ is fantastic!

Bj's takedown defense is pretty solid too. He pretty much has the ability to dictate where the fight takes place.

BJ Penn has the skills to be the best P4P fighter in the world. He always didn't apply himself and his cardio that is the only reason he has lost any fights with the exception of the 2nd GSP fight. In all of his other losses he was dominating then gassed and lost the fight due to sub or got out pointed because his cardio expired. His skills are hard to match!
