Why do rankings matter pre-AA game? A lot of players haven't even committed yet.

Just another excuse to add a post to his count.

I wonder if we could get the 2011 Rankings as well?

So let me get this straight... you post this because you feel like it is important and accurate enough, but yet you think they have Notre Dame wrong?

I'm sure you alot more homework than rivals does on incoming freshman. Can I get a subscription to your magazine? What's the name of your recruiting service?

ND can have the #1 rated class year after year, they still won't win a bowl game unless they play a depleted 6-6 Hawaii team.

Ohio State has the potential for a top 5 class if they are able to haul in Henderson, Hicks, Floyd, Anderson, James, and Bryant. . . all of which we have a great shot at.

Agreed. If OSU can bring in those guys...that class will be STACKED!

Silly.
So now there are more teams guilty of inflamed recruiting rankings? I thought that was just a Notre Dame thing. It's odd you include the two programs who are in the MNC game as this is usually they way you discredit ND.

These rankings mean very little right now, we are a month and a half away from signing day.

Probably the fact that Notre Dame, a program who is living in the past and is irrelevant in the world of college football, has a recruiting class that is ranked ahead of OSU. Again these rankings mean next to nothing, especially at this point in time. A lot can change from now until February.

I hope you're right. However, my loyalty to the Buckeyes won't let me ignore the fact that if they lose this Bowl game in conjunction with the Big 10 once again being bent over and broken down shotgun style, OSU will have lost much of the "luster" they achieved winning their last NC. That hurts when it comes to recruiting, and lets be honest; JT and his coordinators are not the most innovative individuals when it comes to football. Have they had success? Certainly. But, doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results is what Einstein called the "definition of insanity."

With that being said, I do honestly feel that the Buckeyes will win the game.

Ohio St definitely needs to get some fresh young blood on their coaching staff. They're about as exciting as watching paint dry. By fresh, young blood I am not talking about Nick Siciliano.

The buddy system they have now that embraces nepotism has been getting outcoached for the past few seasons

Seriously, I am almost as qualified as Nick Siciliano. Maybe I should call Tress and try to get a coaching job grooming one of the top recruits in the country, even though I'd probably be in way over my head.
