Anyone else watch the first couple episodes? I just watched the premiere and I thought it was pretty solid.

It's ok....Tries to be a couple different things without being either particularly well. Basically just a so-so lawyer show with a bit of corporate intrigue (and the mob) thrown in. "Certain to be canceled" is probably spot on. I think better shows have not been renewed.

Had no intrest. If it wasnt a follow up to the book/movie maybe. But no way could I get into those characters as different actors than Tom Cruise and Jeanne Tripplehorn.

I'll keep watching, it's entertaining from the pilot episode... Hopefully it gets some followers and stays on.
After I watch episode 2 & 3, I'll update my thoughts on the series.

I like Paul Rogers's voice and Jimmy Page's style. Radioactice and Satisfaction Guaranteed are good songs.

I think the casting is horrible (don't like the brother and his girlfriend). It's an okay show that doesn't seem to live up to its potential.

Funny you ask bcuz I've told this story before tho not here. Back then, i think it was almost sacrilege to touch any Zeppelin material as it was still too soon after Bonham's death. There was still a huge enigma around the band and they had promised to not regroup or ever play again together, though they did for Live Aid which was a pretty big deal at the time. Live Aid was 85, 85 and 86 were the two Firm tours.

So anyway Page did a solo and halfway thru the solo he busted out his bow like on the live Dazed and Confused from TSRtS and a green laser pyramid came down around him and spun faster and faster as he got faster. It blew everyone away because like I said there was no Zeppelin being played by any former member. Remember, this was still 2-3 years before Plant came out with Tall Cool One that sampled a couple old Zep songs. Then years after that Plant and Page got together and did the symphony stuff and then (smh) Page and P Diddy made it totally ok for anyone anywhere to play any Zep song that could bring in a dollar.
