I think it's crappy song night. I've recognized about 1/2 of the songs and most are doing well....just not as interesting as last week.

Elise did "You and I" by Lady Gaga and was AWFUL....she should go...judges drilling Hollie every week.

It seems like Steven Tyler has gone out of his way to diss her the past two weeks. It was certainly not deserved yesterday.judges drilling Hollie every week.
I thought Elise did a pretty fair Lady Gaga last nite. Most unusually, I was not that impressed with Joshua last nite, but the judges ate it up. I don't see what the big deal is about Skylar.??? IMO she should be the one to go...but 'no chance'.
It seems to me that the judges have been picking favorites and panning the ones they want to exit, rather than give honest judgements the past two weeks.The cuts are going to be tough from here on out, I wouldn't be surprised if the 'save' gets used tonite, if it is anyone else but Holly that finishes on the bottom.

Sadly for Hollie, she her most direct competition is that Sanchez girl. Sanchez seems more readily marketable than Hollie, and I think the judges are looking to have Hollie eliminated becasue they know she probably can't win it all when going head to head with Sanchez.

I personally am not a fan of Colton's, but there is no way he will go next week. First he is extremely popular with the young ladies who do most of the voting and I think the judges will use the save on him, putting Hollie/Elise out for an exit.Ironman92;1142522 wrote:My guess

Someone mentioned Skylar should go and I have to say I disagree. She is a lot better singer and entertainer than that Scotty McQueary kid who won the whole thing last year impersonating John Micheal Montgomery every week.
AI is all about what I call "voting blocks". Like Scotty last year, Skylar will have all the country-music fans voting for her which will carry her very far. Nobody cares about Elise or Hollie so they will be the next two to go (in no particular order). As I noted before, Colton has a huge voting block in young girls who think he is cute. He will stick around for the final three with Sklyar and Jessica.

That is probably true, and probably the reason the judges give her a free pass as they don't want to lose the country music demographic just yet. I will disagree though that she is better than Scotty McCreery or even last year's runner up Lauren Alaina.Like Scotty last year, Skylar will have all the country-music fans voting for her which will carry her very far.

Producers and directors took over to draw more interest in the upcoming weeks....take a frontrunner, make everyone think she's leaving and anyone could win.
I assume two will leave next week....I guarantee Elise is one of them.

I agree, it was so blantantly obvious it was staged-- the judges reactions were fake as hell. As much as the producers think this ploy will win over viewers, I hope it backfires on them. Let the voters decide and if you don't like their choice, find another show to produce.

I think the judges reactions were legit. Sanchez is the best singer this year, and it's mindboggling to see the 3 that were in the bottom 3.

No it's not. Elise Testone was an obvious bottom 3 person And Josh Ledett is a top 5 guy, not a top 3 guy. So... it made sense to me. Josh is another church singer. Like we need more of those. Elise is ok and Jessica isn't even close to being the best in this show. I dk why everyone is all over her, I think she's not that great. And one of the best singers in the country? Lmao
