And chowoe beat d1ck by 5. Pretty dominate the entire match. Still hasnt hit his peak yet because of a late start because of football. Same with schmeltzer and foster

I dont know for sure, just a guess and rumors that are floating.
I saw him 2 weeks ago and he looked pretty big. Im sure breaking an ankle hasnt helped his weight management.
With Timchecko out, I think he would be a slight favorite at 120 for a district title. No one is touching Spearman.
I think 120 would make sense for him.

Bigdawg,

Please acknowledge that you have no ties with the Lancaster program. After this Saturday's disappointing performance at The Porter Memorial, I can assure you that NOBODY within the Lancaster program would feel warranted to make these statements. IF I am wrong and you are in anyway associated with the program, please see Coach Strope immediately to discuss team rules and expected behavior. My apologies to the wrestling community. Coach Strope

106: Should be very entertaining to see Gutierrez and Riley wrestle if both meet in finals. Riley has gotta be cutting a lot but will be at full strength on second day and Gutierrez isn't the biggest 106 pounder.
113: Spearman is a level above everyone.
120: I think anyone in the top 6 could come out of the blue.
126: Murdock is a heavy favorite. McCurdy has been wrestling tough all season.
132: Will be one of the best weights to watch. A lot will depend on the match ups in the semi's. Strope has been in the semis the past two years and have dropped to 6th.(Same thing happened at Medina after a close loss to Fiorucci.) Not saying it will happen again but the bracket draws will be huge at this weight class.
138: I like Ryan here as long as he stays healthy. Lost to Forrider at Brecksville in OT but very tough on his feet. The battle for the second two spots should be some great matches
145: Luft is the favorite here but the rest of the field could end up any way. Bondurant from Pick Central has a win over Horner. Fun weight class to watch.
152: Delande has to be the favorite being a defending state champ but hasn't had a lot of matches this year. Be interesting to see the rest of the field.
160: Daniels(OL) is wrestling very tough and I could see him winning the district tourney. I also see Mickley getting out of the district.
170: Pickett is my heavy favorite. Very tall and knows how to wrestle big matches.
182: Leidecker is tough and seasoned. Lybarger isn't very experienced but is tough. McGrath and Foster could all have good matches with the two mentioned.
195: I see this as the most wide open weight class. Chowoe beat Dikc convincingly last week in a dual, but anything can happen. No clear favorite and sectional/district draws will be key for this weight class.
220: Stienmetz is a very strong and tough kid that is always fighting. A little odd of a kid(know from experience), but very good kid and tough wrestler.
285: I see this coming down between Elflein and Fleming. Both very big kids and strong. Thirkfield is also tough and could give both of these kids tough matches.

Just my view on the top kids mentioned at the beginning of the post, should be a great two days at Hilliard Darby.

I knew it! My suspicions have just been confirmed. I almost posted that if the Spy-Dogg finds out about this, he's gonna be ticked! And if you were on the team before that post, I doubt you are much longer!!! Best of luck moving forward, coach. Everyone has a bad match, a bad round, heck, sometimes a bad tournament. Let it be just that, and it will all be fine. See you soon, coach.

It's will be an interesting team race. Marysville has a lot of potential but many of their guys are in stacked weight classes with little room for error 106/113/145/160/275 any slips and others will catch them.

in 285 i think flemming 1 or 2 depends on Elflein on how hard he comes back

Agreed. Fleming looks really good this year after adding some weight. Should help him out against the bigger heavies. Wrestled a really good match with Tavanello at Brecksville. Lost 1-0

Riley, Ramahni, Guiterrez, Wimer with Nace, DiSabato and I'm sure six more kids biting at the bit!!!

The argument for Nace is a good one. He beat Ramahni at Brecksville - help me out - 5-0!?!?! Maybe it was 5-1 or even 5-2, but he did win. However, Ramahni can say, "HELLO!? I WON Top Gun!!!!!"

Nace's counterpoint... "I can only thrash the people my schedule permits!" And for the most part, has he not!?

33 and 34 days to go until all this conjecture is put to rest. And I for one can't wait!!!!

From what I heard, Riley wrecked shop up at Clay. I'm not sure many kids were in the bracket or pool but, he was unseeded and "humiliated 5th, 4th and 1st seeds." That's the text I received from a reputable coach.

106

Not to mention Ramahni just beat Gutierez 13-7 at Mason.
Wimer almost had Gutierez at Medina, Gutierez hit a late merkle to get the win and Wimer controlled DiSabato.
Nace has been impressive beating Ramahni 5-0 at Brecksville.
Right now I would go.
Riley Ramahni/Gutierez/Nace/Wimer DiSabado
I think Riley is the favorite now and the next 4 are very close and any could make it or not go with DiSabado being able to make a run if he can get momentum.
Its very fluid tho!
I cant wait to watch it play out.

It will be huge where these guys wrestle sectionals.....random district draw (by sectional placing) will then be key
