Oh yes, the "your brain is small you cannot comprehend how powerful God is".

Go stick your head in the sand please.

Religion is about connection, and to that end, all that is important, is that you find your connection. It isn't about logic, it's about relationship. That you don't get it is nobody's loss but your own.
I think the massivity of the universe and such more disproves religion than proves it.

And in case you weren't reading, I am suggesting that all elements of religion are man made. Which parts aren't?

Sleeper hates all religions and pretty much people in general, oh my bad just all minorities. I highly doubt he has any relationships other than those here on the OC.

He is not a student and therefore could not have relations with any of the pervert teachers on the OC.

Good question. Cue the "Only God knows" or some other equally elitist statement or fallacy.

My whole thing with religion is this...you tell someone some ridiculous claim, and they immediately say prove it. At that point, you have to prove what you just claimed to be true. When it comes to religion, you tell someone to prove it and they use the "you just have to have faith" card. Jesus might have been real, and he might have done some wonderful things, but imo you are kidding yourself if he parted seas, cured uncurable sickness from nothing, etc back in those times. He was most likely a great bullshitter and a great speaker.

sleeper being an asshole doesn't make him ad hoc incorrect.

This quote pretty much sums up my feelings: “Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.”

There isn't a just god that would punish a person for not believing if they were a good person so I don't see the point in bothering with worship when you can just be a good person. And you thusly minimize the risk of wasting an enormous portion of your life only to be pissed when you die. Well no you won't be pissed when you die you'll just be dead so I guess whatever.

I think the massivity of the universe and such more disproves religion than proves it.
Again ...your beef is with religion (as evidenced by that gargantuan post) which is but a conduit for a connection. Some religions work for some people others need something different. But I think it is ludicrous that someone asks "why do you pray?" ..and says "I won't attack you"...and then proceeds to do just that.
In all seriousness...if you and sleeper are going to worship Ron Paul, maybe you guys should embrace the spirit of the constitution on matters of religion.

The constitution allows for freedom of religion. Which I'm totally for. But it does not in anyway endorse religion nor did our founders intend for our country to endorse any religion.

I've never attacked anyone until I was being attacked. I believe in the Golden Rule, something Ron Paul endorses. I do embrace the constitution, but I believe 100% in the separation of church and state.

Like I said, only believers like to bring up their entitlement to their belief because they are wrong and they know it.

Also the fact that churches are allowed non-profit status, I think that leaves believers and their institution open for unlimited criticism.

I suppose that's better than nothing, despite me not believing your story. Once the light of logic is seen, its extremely rare for someone to return to the neverneverland.

What dont you believe? That my brother doesn't believe or what?
