Well...he's one of the top 32 QB's in the world, since he is starting in the NFL.

And...he's not even the worst QB left out of the 8.

In an ESPN survey of 1,502 Americans age 12 or older, three percent identified Tebow as their favorite professional athlete. Tebow finished in front of Kobe Bryant (2 percent),Aaron Rodgers (1.9 percent), Peyton Manning (1.8 percent), and Tom Brady (1.5 percent). So let’s put this in perspective. ESPN polled 1,502 people. Of those, three percent – i.e., 45 people — said Tim Tebow is their favorite pro athlete. And because 45 people in America picked Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow is suddenly now the most popular pro athlete in America?

This is hilarious. So ESPN polled just enough ( given the odd sample size it's a safe assumption) to produce the results they were looking for...former SEC GOD is their poster child.

Yeah, he's better than the 3rd string rookie starting for Houston. Kudos to him for that. And obviously I meant he's not a good NFL quarterback. I wasn't comparing him to an average citizen, because that's really not relevant considering quarterback is his profession. I wouldn't compare my surgical abilities to a doctor either.

He's one of the 5 worst starting QB's in the NFL. Worst completion percentage, 2nd most fumbles, and for all of the "he just wins" talk, they went 0-3 to end the season and the offense put up 3 points on Kansas City in the season finale with a playoff birth on the line.

He's lucky the Raiders shit down their legs (1-4 to end the season) or nobody would even be talking about him right now. I have nothing against him personally. I think he seems like a dork, but a nice guy. I just don't like watching wobbly passes sail 5 yards wide of receivers.

Teams have backups that are better than Tebow. And he is definitely the worst QB left of the 8.

He's better than Yates.

And I'd take him before Alex Smith.

Tebow backs up his religion by doing the things he believes in and it's his freedom to do those.

It absolutely is his freedom. When I see obnoxious pda, those people annoy me. Doesn't ruin my day, but keep your shit to yourself. Should thank the idiocy of the other team rather than god.

I would argue if he started from the begining of the season they probaly wouldn't have started 1-4. So its a wash.

Then you probaly enjoyed the spiral he threw on the first play of OT.

I don't think anyone said they should be forbidden from doing so.

I did enjoy that. I enjoyed the stiff arm and run after the catch more, but he did a nice job of putting the throw where it needed to be a few times in that game.

A guy takes a knee to say a prayer after scoring a touchdown to win a game in the playoffs in dramatic fashion and people think that is the most vile thing they have ever seen. No wonder our world is such a messed up place.
Exactly. Ray Lewis killed a damn guy and we're here talking about Tim Tebow being annoying?

Because the camera's are never on the guys who score the Td.

Many of the Political polls use a smaller sample size than that and they are pretty accurate.

That said, I like Tebow. I don't mind his religious views because I believe his is genuine. He practices what he preaches and I can respect that.

Same with Jmog, I don't believe he is right on the religious issues, but I respect that fact that he really believes it, and while I don't know him personally, it seems that he lives his life that way.

What bothers me is when convicts, or sports thugs use religion and Jesus to try to cover their tracks.
