lolfail. They are going to be fucked after next year. How many picks do they have in this upcoming draft? 3?

Cue failhook's comment about the Browns.

Not only do you have no draft picks, but if you have a bad season you are going to get canned.

Chill out Oakland, stop firing people

Because its an NFL job and unemployment is pretty high. You could say the same thing about many teams.

Maybe the million penalties and no discipline had something to do with it, barring injuries they would have made the playoffs.

Man, and I thought the team might show signs of front office stability now that Zombie Al finally got head-shot.

Stupid me...

They brought in a new GM. It's the GM's call whether or not to keep the head coach.

Also, Jackson deserved to be fired with the shit he said after the season. He basically threw the players under the bus, took no blame himself, and then demanded more power and control over the franchise, including having a say in the next GM (which obviously didn't happen).

Also, Carson Palmer.

I can't believe it. 3 coaches in 3 seasons. Hate to be a Raiders fan. And I actually thought they would go to the second season!

This.

Now with the CryptKeeper dead and the fact they have hired a GM to draft the players, I think they will be headed in the right direction. Same thing would happen with the Cowboys if Jerry Jones didn't play GM.

Kind of half surprised by this. I thought Jackson did a solid job this season, but if he was making demands after one middling season they probably made the right decision
