I honestly can't think of how I'd rank them, and yet in prior years it was easy.

Will Alabama be #1? They were really the best team in the country three years in a row.

I'm aware. They lost one this year too, whoopie. I think at the end of the season they were playing better than anyone though.

I really like Florida State for next year though, the expectations were simply a year premature.

This.

But seriously, I don't understand the level of hatred on this board for Notre Dame. It seems to be twice as bad as the hatred for Michigan.

JMHO, it stems from perceived elitism, which they share with scUM as well. But they aren't in the BIG10 and haven't joined. I think if they were they you would see it subside some.

I don't hate Notre Dame one bit. I have a ton of Notre Dame (fan) friends in NW Ohio. I usually root for them to win. There just seems to be a TON more QQ'ers (representing ND) on this site, than there are Michigan QQ'ers, so people rag on ND to get a rise.

haha well I guess I would just say that sleeper's elitism makes up for all ND elitism and then some.

i'll agree with the QQ'er segment as well.

yeah, i meant that as the perception of the school as a whole, on this board I think there are more QQ'ers like ETB said.

Everyone knows sleeper doesn't really believe the stuff he says though. It seems that ND fans truly believe that the Fighting Irish are great football program, when in reality, they haven't been very good for a long time. I don't share in the distaste for ND, but I can see how many people hate them.

I think I read it could be up to 7 guys that are gone if the juniors that are expected to go to the draft do in fact go. Offense I haven't seen a number, just remember from the game last night it'll probably be Richardson, Maze and I want to say 3/5 of their o-lineman were seniors.
