I was not sure about it being the opener but week 3 and 4 might be open for Dover,we will complete 4 year deals with Canfield(,week 3) and Tri Valley(week 4) this season so that will match your openings if Canfield and T.V. roll off the sched.

I have been trying to look up our future schedule on highschoolsports.net and it is currently not working. I hope we do play Dover again though. Great teams with a great matchup

what is your opion of nw going back to the running game this year

I pray that they do at least a 50/50 split attack of running and passing. Personally I would rather see 60/40 in the favor of running. I haven't been impressed with the Whiting passing attack game.

Hopefully Vic will take some pointers from last year's Norwayne team and get it done!

from my understanding we will have an offensive attack very similar to Norwayne. Im more curious to see what we will do on Defense

norwayne's offense was NW offense before the full spread...

Northwest will be a multi set team again, we will run the I the mid and the spread, we have the athletes to be real dangerous. defense will go back to a 4-3 . we will be a very solid team

True, but they also incorporated and ran The Zone Read with Wallace at QB. Something that we never did. But as far as terminology and Formation names and such, yes it is all the same

Division Breakdowns for OHSAA Football in 2013

Just read that NW will move to D IV in 2013. Thoughts? This has to put us at an advantage when it gets to playoff time. I have never even heard of most of the other schools.

I read that the competetive balance breakdown will put N.W. back in D3 as well as Mooney. Louisville will stay in d2 with competetive balance. Steubenville stays in D4,but just by a few so if they get some transfers in they could end up in D3 as well.

Its gunna be close...Remember we are using last years count. They count the enrollment every two years. I personally think we will drop to Divison IV.

the Northwest draw down is next saturday night at hillside park. tickets are available 50.00 for one or 60.00 for a couple. steak, potatoe, salad ,dessert. plus all your drinks are included. chance to win yourself some money plus to help support the football team. there will be lots of talk on upcoming season. parents fans coaches will be there it is a great time hope to see all you chatters there . the season is not that far off. lets start the year off right get there and have some fun show your support.
