WR was the worst position he recruited. It will easily be their biggest weakness next year.

This was a dynamite drop in. Maybe we should make a thread about everyone who posts "we" when referring to their favorite sports teams.

I think I am going to miss Stonum though. I mean we'll have some receivers, but not a lot of experience. Roundtree is a Senior next year isn't he? We'll have him, Gallon and Dileo. Not great, but not nothing either. I don't know/can't think of anyone else.

I like Gallon and Dileo, but they are far from big time receivers.

That's where I think Stonum will be missed. Not exactly a big time receiver, but he's closer. Roundtree does still have 1 more year though correct?

What's not more funny, the people who use "we" when talking about a college football team or the people who make fun of them?

I don't see it. the guys that have been on the field for 3 years are just now leaving. the other kids have never even had a shot at the field. They will be just fine IMO. The o line a D line are the ones who will be lacking.

If we can get a frosh to come in and make an immediate impact, D line will be ok. Not great, and certainly no depth. OL will have not depth and need a center to step up.

WR could be almost bad. Roundtree and Gallon are what we have coming back, and maybe Stonum. Our receivers in 2011 were very average. We need some playmakers at the position badly, and we won't have them next year.

What I am saying is the guys who are leaving were starters for 3 years, the other guys never had a shot at the field. Now is there chance and i think they will be fine but that is just me.

Hoke already said they are pursuing 3 WRs now instead of 2, whether Payton commits or not. I think that was writing on the wall.

Ha, I know man. Just joking around. Cal's WR coach left for Washington today as well. Can't imagine Payton sticking and wouldn't be surprised to see Treggs move on either. Cal was on top of the recruiting world at the Army game and its now all crashing down on them.

Glad Hoke did this even when it is a killer blow to the team. Stonum could have done some big things next year.
