60,000 tickets for Ohio State football Spring Game have been distributed to this point, according to OSU spokesman.
I thought I heard 60k. Then they said they were hoping for nice weather because they estimated they could get upwards of 90k then with walk-ups.

Unless there's lightning, they'll play the 'game' (ala 2008)

"We can be real good," he said. "I know we can score a lot of points."

Looking like the rain might move out of the area before the start of the Spring game.

The Big Ten has a rule on no night games in November I believe, so there's no way that can be right. Although, an 8pm Ohio State-Michigan game on Fox with Gus Johnson calling it would be beyond awesome. I can understand the no night games in November with the weather, but this year alone with Wisconsin and Michigan the last 2 weeks of the year for Ohio State, both of those would be great under the lights. Seems like every game between Wisconsin and Ohio State lately has been under the lights as well, maybe 2009 as the exception.

I don't think that is correct unless FOX picked up a new contract with the B1G to have tier 1 regular season games? I thought ABC/ESPN still had rights to all the tier 1 games?

I'm looking forward to the day when the B1G recinds the "no November Night Games" policy...makes them look like pussies, like the SEC.

2006 was a 3:30 start. While it finished under the lights, it wasn't technically a night game.

Yeah, I think the last quarter or quarter and a half it was dark. The atmosphere was unreal, though I'm sure a lot of that had to do with it being 1 vs. 2, but a primetime Ohio State-Michigan with Gus Johnson on the call would be as good as it could get for the B1G. The no primetime in November really needs to go so you can have Michigan State vs. Wisconsin, or Ohio State vs. Wisconsin, or Ohio State vs. Michigan under the lights when the stakes are at their highest at the end of the year.

That was the best sporting event I've ever been to in my life. I was in the South Stands raging when Beanie was coming at us on that long TD run. Absolute madness!

Over the spring, however, Meyer believes no group has shown more progress. The front five embraced the demands of strength and conditioning coach Mickey Marotti — and then some. St. John’s graduate Jack Mewhort, one of the few players to impress coaches from the start, reported the line has lost 455 pounds of fat and gained more than 500 pounds of muscle. Linsley said he’s made a “180, on and off the field.”

“That grind of [off-season conditioning] just really wiped the slate clean. I really feel like we have a chance to be the best offensive line in America.”

Any of you follow @SPORTSbyBROOKS on Twitter? He's been tweeting about OSU this morning. Not sure if it's new info and if it's in fact true but it doesn't sound too good.

I'd say his "info" is correct about 3% of the time. Probably doesn't mean much until someone a little more credible picks up on it, whatever he is saying.

Some agent is saying that Santonio Holmes told him that another agent had been paying him.

Josh Luchs is the same agent from the Sports Illustrated article 2 summers ago isn't he? Confessions of an Agent or something? Not exactly new allegations, Brooks.
