A friend of mine took this picture at the local Wal-Mart this morning. This is a guy that stands with his "homeless" sign all the time, and that's a flat screen TV in his cart!!

Here is another pic a friend took of the guy.

My wife saw a group of people with similar signs getting out of a van last week. They dispersed and worked the area.

I believe his sign. I mean lying about that would be just as bad as lying about owning a McDonald's.

If this was the Chillicothe Wal-mart. . . I saw a homeless dude talking on his cellphone at the stop light once. I don't think it was the same one, though.

Like become a gym teacher. That would be easier than panhandling.

I got stopped at a light here in Falls Church where there was a woman who was "unemployed and homeless." Next to where she had her stuff she had a CVS bag with two cartons of cigarettes some other things and a set of keys that looked to have car keys as well as house keys and an electronic key card.

Cigarettes = "cigs" or "smokes"

Pls understand homeless jargon.

Is this by the Norse dealership? I always see 2 different guys there, 1 at each stopsign. The other guy I think has a white beard and wears camo.

I've heard similar stories. People pan handle all day, and then you can watch them go get into their Lincoln/Cadillac at the end.

Not saying it's common, but does seem to happen. Another good scam I've heard of is a guy dressed in a suit will work the bus/subway stops and ask for change for a ride. People think he just lost his wallet....Think about the hundreds of people you could see (and the numerous stops you could do this at) and it's not hard to imagine this guy pulling in $100 tax-free in a day.
