Yeah, thought about that after I posted and was headed for work. College and the pros are a BIG difference. WR's running wide open and free ALL day long. Doesn't happen in the pros. Have to be able to anticipate and throw into windows. Also have to lead receivers, in stride, on a deep ball, not make them sit and wait.
Now it's very possible that RG3 has similar issues (anticipation, etc) but I doubt he'll have issues fitting the ball into windows or throwing it deep.
That being said, the more & more the days go on, the less & less I think he (Griffin) ends up a Brown. I don't think it will be for lack of trying. I just think that WASH is ready to outbid anyone, at any cost. My worst nightmare is that we are going to be STUCK watching Linguini Arm under center another year.
