Rams coach Jeff Fisher says his team is set with
Sam Bradford at quarterback, which means there’s a good chance he’ll trade the second overall pick in the NFL draft to a team that wants Baylor quarterback
Robert Griffin III.
And he says acquiring a package of players and picks from such a trade could potentially stock the franchise for years to come.
“
There are going to be teams that have some interest in that pick,” Fisher told Bernie Miklasz of the
St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “What we do will define the future of this franchise moving forward.”

Jeff Fisher is apparently giving strong consideration to trading out of the 2 spot for what he figures might be a large bounty for RGIII.
I keep seeing Mock drafts giving Cleveland RGIII at 4, but from what both Fisher in St. Louis and Minnesota have said it seems like both teams plan on trying to auction off their pick (Minnesota can't if St. Louis does).
If it takes the #22 pick and #37 to move up to #2 to get RGIII if that is what it takes.
With the new CBA installing the rookie cap it is now more expensive to move up than before because signability used to always be an issue. Now more teams are interested in going up than ever since that is no longer a problem.
I think some team is going to get a woody for the guy after his workouts which is why the price is going to be high to go up and get him even though it is only 2 spots. Someone is going to do it.
