Agreed. This guy is quickly burning as many bridges as possible in the NFL. I did agree with what he had to say about Coples though.

That person is on crack if they think "TE is the most complete position on the team." Alex Smith, I believe, is a FA. Ben Watson is a question mark as to whether he can even come back. Evan Moore is a revolving door when it comes to throwing a block and Jordan Cameron is still a project. I think Cameron can be good but it's too early to tell. Wouldn't surprise me to see them go after TE again in the draft or if one is available in FA.

Pipe dream would be a 1% chance

This is a .001% chance.

Notice I have to preface any link with "pipe dream" or "no chance this happens" or you think it's gospel that I think the player is coming here? I post the links for general reads for others to enjoy. I'm sure someone else would've posted the link.....in about three days.

Has nothing to do with the Cleveland Browns, would be better suited in the NFL Chatter thread

I'd also do whatever it takes to bring Troy Smith on the Browns, so I'm probably not a very good GM.

I'd much rather have S&L be a mod than C4F.

Because you never disagree or really have your own opinions on anything..you simply just agree what others say

I don't have my own opinions? That's funny stuff. Do you follow me around this board? Because that's the furthest thing from being the truth.

nice fail tho

McShay's latest mock has RGIII and Floyd going to Cleveland. Sounds good to me.

Rams coach Jeff Fisher says his team is set with Sam Bradford at quarterback, which means there’s a good chance he’ll trade the second overall pick in the NFL draft to a team that wants Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III.
And he says acquiring a package of players and picks from such a trade could potentially stock the franchise for years to come.
“There are going to be teams that have some interest in that pick,” Fisher told Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “What we do will define the future of this franchise moving forward.”
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/02/03/fisher-rams-move-with-no-2-pick-will-define-the-future-of-the-franchise/

Jeff Fisher is apparently giving strong consideration to trading out of the 2 spot for what he figures might be a large bounty for RGIII.

I keep seeing Mock drafts giving Cleveland RGIII at 4, but from what both Fisher in St. Louis and Minnesota have said it seems like both teams plan on trying to auction off their pick (Minnesota can't if St. Louis does).

If it takes the #22 pick and #37 to move up to #2 to get RGIII if that is what it takes.

With the new CBA installing the rookie cap it is now more expensive to move up than before because signability used to always be an issue. Now more teams are interested in going up than ever since that is no longer a problem.

I think some team is going to get a woody for the guy after his workouts which is why the price is going to be high to go up and get him even though it is only 2 spots. Someone is going to do it.
