I would also take Robinson. And I would rather get Robinson, Garcon over Bowe or Colston. Both are inconsistent as hell and Colston is built like a china doll. That guy is hurt every week.

Agree. The thing Bowe would give you is a great red zone target, as he really excells there. But he has been inconsistant. When Robinson got a chance to play this year, he put up big numbers.

Incosistent how? Both Bowe and Colston are going to give you 1,000 yard seasons when healthy. Colston has missed 3 games in the past 3 years, so I'm not sure why you think he's hurt every week. Any of those guys can help this offense.

Never had either on your fantasy team I take it. Bowe against the Ravens in a playoff game had 1 target. Crumbles under pressure. Not to mention he's one bone head move away from being suspended for a year. Colston is inconsistent as hell, has 3 good games a game and bunch of meh followed by disappearing acts. This while playing with an elite QB in a great offense. No thanks.

Yeah that's my take on Bowe as well. His season totals are pretty consistent. But disappears from games at times.

To be fair on Colston, that's a lot of that is just being a WR in the Saints offense. Brees likes to spread the ball around so you that happen with Henderson and Meachem too. Colston has good size and hands but certainly wouldn't be the "burner" that many on here are hoping for. I certainly wouldn't mind them taking a shot at Manningham because 1. You could probably get him for a decent price, especially since the Giants already have Hicks and Cruz (making him more expendable), 2. Great speed and hands, and 3. Is from northeast Ohio so it may be a little easier to sign him than some of the other targets.

I'll give ya that Bowe can be a headcase. But with Colston, there's a difference between being inconsistent in Fantasy Football and being inconsistent within the offense. He had only 3 games with less than 5 receptions. Which isn't bad with all the weapons the Saints have. Also, I did have Bowe and his 15 tds last year in FF.

No one real sexy. Just some role players and added depth. Assuming and hoping that D'Qwell Jackson is re-signed, Guytan would be my choice. He's young, versatile, and athletic. He's played inside and outside in the 4-3, and inside in the 3-4.

DE:

Robert Mathis
John Abraham
Cliff Avril
Andre Carter
Israel Idonije
Jeremy Mincey

Mathis and Abraham are getting older, but either would immediately improve the pass rush. Cliff Avril is the top choice, if you're wanting a younger, athletic, versatile DE.

CB:

Brent Grimes
Carlos Rogers
Marcus Trufant
Rashean Mathis
Tim Jennings
Terrell Thomas
Tracy Porter

There's a ton of corners availible. Any of those guys would be nice to have across from Joe Haden.

RB:

Mike Tolbert

The top guys are likely to get re-signed by their respective teams... including Forte. If Chicago lets him walk, I'd really hope that they'd make a move for him. Maybe Mike Tolbert would be a more realistic option though.

Eric Weems (KR)
Pierre Garcon

Manningham would be my top choice. Him or Garcon. Weems would be a nice guy to have in the return game. Cribbs can still make house calls, but he did lose a step last year. Adding someone to share the return duties with may lengthen his career. I just did a quick glance over. I didn't see Robinson on the list. I may have overlooked him. If he is a FA, I'd take him too.

Anyone know offhand how much cap space the Browns have this year? I did look. I couldn't find it... a bunch of stuff from last year came up. I searched for "Cleveland Browns 2012 salary cap."

Most reports say between $20 and $30 million, but I think we're closer to the $30 mil mark.

Avril, Grimes, and Garcon are atop my wish list. I don't know anything about Guytan so I can't comment on him but we def need some depth. I don't expect DQ to be an iron man again next season and we were really lucky he was able to play every snap this pass season. I thought it was pretty stupid to go into 2011 season with an every half way decent back up at the MLB spot.

McKinzie would be followed, but I'm not sure he makes it to FA.

Depending on who the Browns re-sign they should have between $33-50 million to spend.

Bobby Carpenter? Really? And before Y-Town goes all "you HATE ALL the Buckeyes", I think most of us can agree that "Barbie" has been a monumental bust. I know Trev said "role players" but I'd rather take my chances on a 4th rounder.

Guytan is with the Pats. He goes 6'3 245. I think he's like 25 years old. Somewhere around there. He's not really a complete LB, but he's pretty good in pass coverage. He could be more of a weak side/Nickel LB for the Browns.

I'm also all for taking a LB in the 4th, in addition to signing someone.

It's fair to label Carpenter a bust. He did play well at times for Detroit in 2011 though.

He probably wouldn't be in my starting line-up.

Garçon is a down hill runner and breaks tackles with his strength and field vision where stallworth was elusive and very fast. As for garçon I would love to have especially because I know him lol. But he really does fit the wco perfectly

In any case, it is becoming more likely the Browns are going to have to move up for RGIII if they want him.

I am really hoping for Sherman, although Chilly seems more likely.

Sherman had a mediocre run at A&M, but was a damn good coach with GB. Maybe he just wasn't cut out to be a college guy.

Chilly on the other hand struggled mightily in Minnesota until Favre saved him from the firing squad, and I don't want his unimaginative style of offense coming to Cleveland where we are already challenged in terms of having offensive vision.

If this is the case, and the Browns know they won't be able to get RGIII, then they should undercut all the offers the Vikings get.

To be fair, Chilly did make the playoffs with Tarvaris Jackson.

I said he was comparable. I never said they were the same type of player, or of the same mold. They're both speedy, downfield threats. That's about all that they have in common.

What I mean by that is, I think he'd have a similar impact as Stallworth had in New Orleans, Philadelphia, and New England... especially with a Rookie or McCoy at QB.

I like Garcon... he's just not a #1.

Prior to his year in Cleveland, Stallworth averaged 14 games played, 46 catches, 702 yards, and 5 TDs every year. Not bad numbers.

I didn't mean it as an insult. If you look back at my original post in which I compared Garcon to Stallworth, I also mentioned Wes Welker and Randy Moss, of the 2007 Patriots. Garcon is no Welker, and he's certainly no Moss. He's more of a Donte Stallworth.

If Cleveland has a bunch of legit receiver threats, they won't need a true #1. There are teams that are loaded with weapons yet none of them would be considered a true #1.

If it's with the second 1st rounder, sure...but not Blackmon at 4.
