Yeah, stop over. I am hoping to have it for the game this weekend, but it is going to be tough. I still have to get the title...get plates...all that shit.

I'll be interested to see if Weeden puts together back-to-back solid performances. He faced a pretty awful defense last week and should have a bigger test this week with the Bills front four bringing a pass rush. His success will likely determine whether Richardson has a big day and vice versa. Against the Bengals, Weeden's ability to throw down the field opened up running lanes for Richardson and the play action (Richardson as a threat) opened up the passing game.

No doubt that both Weeden and Richardson need each other for this offense to even resemble a NFL offense.

Richardson's running game opened it up for Weeden. No way I am giving credit to Weeden for opening it up for Richardson.

Your unblinded hatred of Weeden is noted. If you can't see that Weeden's ability to throw down the field also opened up things for T-Rich, you know less about the game than I thought.

BTW...that was an easy "setup" as I knew your hatred for Weeden would give him no credit. Pretty simple Football 101. They both fed off each others skills. If Weeden isn't completing passes, the Bengals are stacking the box and there's no way T-Rich has the same kind of game.

Geezus BR that's unlike you. Rough morning? I can't even remember the last time I even mentioned McCoy, let alone even said he should be the starter over Weeden (because I never said McCoy should be starter over Weeden, nor did I ever say he was better). So that McCoy argument might work for other posters (although I have no idea who the hell that might be), but it sure as hell won't work on me. You and Iggy need to get over the McCoy shit. It's old.

I gave Weeden his props, he had a really good game, but if you think he would have had that game without Richardson's game then you are kidding yourself.

Keep licking on Weeden's nutsack though. /br

lol...it is obvious that balance is what it is all about. They are going to both benefit off of each other. I am kinda with like_that though...I believe more in that a good running game helps the qb more so. That is not exclusive to Weeden/Richardson...but to everyone in the league.

You might want to re-read my post. They fed off each other. If Weeden can't complete passes down the field, Richardson probably looks pretty crappy and if Richardson isn't running well, Weeden probably looks like shit. I highly doubt it's one or the other. Richardson doesn't have a good game without Weeden and vice versa.

My thoughts exactly. You can argue T Rich even opened up the passing game when Weeden decided to dump to him. The Browns offense looked similar to the Texans offense last Sunday, which relies on the run to set up the pass.

Oh, I believe a good running game definitely helps the QB but if the QB looks like shit the running game isn't going to be effective. Opposing teams will know you're going to run the ball and will shut that shit down immediately. The Browns O-Line AND Richardson aren't that talented to overcome something like that.

Weeden had a great game, and if he does that consistently the team will be dangerous in years to come, however I am giving more of the credit to T Rich for opening up the game than I will Weeden. Sorry. Tom Brady could have been the QB, and I still would have given T Rich more of the credit.

I think his knee is causing the issue. Not reacting fast enough against speed rushers.

I think he is good, but not as good as everyone has always made him out to be. I am not really concerned though...still a top ten left tackle in the league

I don't want to start anything, but I'll just say I disagree with your very strongly. Joe Thomas is definitely the best LT in the game, and probably the best LT I've ever seen play. Orlando Pace and Walter Jones would be the next two on my list.

yeah, I think a lot of people would agree with you.

And also, since Matty H was always my fav player...I followed the Seahawks closely. Walter Jones was awesome, but also had Steve Hutchinson next to him...which helped a lot.

ESPN in general is a joke....all they care about is the big market teams and twist the knife anytime they can when it comes to Cleveland sports. James Walker is an idiot who use to write for the AFC North blog, but got moved to cover the Pats/Jets/Dolphins/Bills and now he thinks he is somebody.

Speaking of Browns Backers. For those of you who go to Browns Backers bars to watch the game, Great Lakes is coming out with a Cleveland Browns Ale in November and they are supposed to distribute it to every Browns Backers bar.
