Don't listen to Triv but I copy & pasted this recap from an OBR poster...

1. Has moved back to Cleveland full time, spends most days in Berea. Office
right next to Holmgren.

2. Does not think owning Aston Villa affects his
attention to Browns. Is still a Browns fan from birth.

3. Both he and
Holmgren get very frustrated and angry about the losing, but know they have to
be patient.

4. Has total faith that this front office will get it
done.

5. Thinks last draft was very good, thinks things are headed in the
right direction.

I don't think Villa fans are very happy with Lerner at this point. He's only attended 2-3 matches this year, the team is struggling, and they didn't spend much. Rumors that he's looking to get out of that situation.

I can't rep you..must have already repped you recently.

As for Triv, I have never really listened to him much. I tried to quite a few years ago, but he annoyed me so I went over to KNR.

I don't get the fascination with Triv. Is he supposed to be a sports talk guy because the couple times I listened to him a few years ago all he talked about was food and politics?

right....exactly what I heard as well. Then whenever someone would call in and disagree with whatever he was discussing...he would call them names and hangup on them...no discussion about it. Very unprofessional

Yeah, but he's been much more of an absentee owner lately, they really curtailed spending on players from where it was his 1st couple seasons as owner (they were losing a lot of money), and the club is struggling - they finished 6th in 2009, 9th last year, and they're currently 13th this season. He also hired a hugely unpopular manager last year.

speaking of sports talk, how many of you remember Pete Franklin.....I used to listen to him as a child, .....had a friend call him once to talk about Don Cockroft, it went something like this

Steve : Pete, what do you think about Don Cockroft?

Pete : Kid, where are you from and how old are you ?

Steve : I am from West Salem, Ohio and I am 11 years old

Pete : Well all you need to know kid, is that Don Cockroft can kick your ass from here to West Salem. KEEP THESE FRICKIN KIDS OFF MY SHOW !

Still teas him about it to this day lol !!

lol...that is a quick way to loser listeners. I mean, I would think you would want to keep the kids interested since they are your future audience.
