This team is just painfully sloppy. Penalties, ball-control issues, that absolutely needs to improve. It is still only the 3rd pre-season game, but we are still doing the same stuff as the first 2 as well as all last year.

Can we bring Mangini back in some sort of disciplinarian role?

Pat Shurmur clearly isn't getting through to this group on that front. Mangini's Brown's teams sucked, but we didn't see any of this shit.

Not one good thing about this game....maybe the nice catch by Gordon? Weeden has been shit, the oline getting manhandled by the eagles 2nd string....and the receivers are not helping the qb much

That is an apt description of Pat Shurmur as a coach, as was uttered by the man himself at the press conference after the game.

Poor O-line play for going on 2 season, a never ending see of sloppy play and penalties, Pat isn't concerned. They just need to "clean that up".

He was getting aggravated that the media had the audacity to ask him if it concerns him that they are having the same problems weekly now with the O-line play, turnovers, penalties, you name it.

He didn't seem bothered it happened, but more so someone asked about it.

The guy wonders why his players don't respect or fear him as a coach (the continued undisciplined play says that loud and clear). He is in way over his head.
